i stood with my ear against the hospital door listening to my mom and grayson's conversation. i faked sleep and got up when i heard them outside.

"i don't think it's a good idea for you to be here when she wakes up from her nap" my mom said

"but why? i've been waiting for this forever and i just flew here from a tour stop in europe!" he sorta yelled

"i don't want her to be overwhelmed grayson" she said

"fine" he said and my hearted kinda hurt

why is my mom doing this

i couldn't hear any talking and i leaned on the door, he left

"i'll be back for a week break in 2 weeks. i'm coming to see her wether you like it or not" grayson said and i heard him walk away

i smiled

then i heard the door handle. i ran as fast as i could to the bed and closed my eyes
