"veronica i swear to god i don't know what is happening" i say with my head basically in the toilet

"are you sure? how much did you drink honestly?" she asked

"not even half a cup. i've been drunk and this is defiantly not it" i say

"could you be?" she raised her eyebrows

"no. the last time was before i got hit by the car. there's no way i'm pregnant" i shake my head

"well good cause i'm not taking care of a kid. maybe you just got sick?" she suggested

"maybe" i huff

she handed me a napkin and i wiped my mouth

"can you go get grayson for me?"

"yeah i'll get you more water too" she said grabbing my cup and leaving the bathroom

i pulled myself up and looked in the mirror. my hair was all over the place and my mascara was running

"shit"

i heard the stairs creeking and quickly rubbed off the mascara

"alexa?" i heard grayson say

i walked into my room and he was sitting on the bed

"are you sober now"

"i was never drunk in the first place"

"you were dizzy, stumbling, and throwing up. what else could it possibly be"

i shrugged my shoulders

"oh no. your not pregnant are you?" his eyes got wide

"no!" i yelled

there was a awkward silence

"who was that kid you were with?" he asked

"a fan"

"veronica has a doctor coming tomorrow morning"

"good"

we stared at each other for a while

"is the party over?" i asked

"yeah everyone's gone. ethan is asleep and veronica is cleaning. you should sleep" he said

"will you stay with me"

"if you want me too"

i walked over to my light switch and turned it off, grayson pulled back the covers and moved over so i could get in

"goodnight" i say quietly

i didn't hear anything back for a few seconds

"goodnight"
