What the heck was that about?! Walking inside my bedroom there was a paper on my bed.

Hello. What have we here?!

Looking at the paper it read:

Dear Lilly,

I know that I made life hard for you. It's not because I hate you but because I'm jealous how much love your father shows me compared to you.

He mentions you on every date, every meeting, and sometimes he dreams about your young self before he founded his own business.

Instead of treating you like the daughter I should, I acted , well mean...

I'm terribly sorry for everything and I hope that we can start over. I'll try to be the best mother, friend, companion or even acquaintance that I can be. Please forgive me.

Wait.... what time is it? Looking at my alarm clock WHAT?!?! It's eleven fifteen!!!!! If caught I could be GROUNDED!!!!

Sneaking downstairs and sliding the note under their door is my brilliant plan!

I dressed up in a black suit and plugged in my tape recorder with my headphones playing mission impossible just because I can.(play video here)

Creeping downstairs, I made it down with no noise and headed towards the office.

Peeping through the door crack I can see that he's still in his office working on his computer and I slide down the hallway towards the last door, the bedroom.

Underneath the door wedge light still shone, so I guess that she's still up..... I gently slide the note under the door and head back towards the stairs.

Dad came out of his office and headed this way!

In the corner opposing the door is dark and wide enough for me to blend in!

I dash for the corner and remained still once in place. I held my breath as he was in front of me by the door.

He opened it and started walking inside... Phew! Whoops!

I exhaled a breath of relief making him stop in his tracks and turn around.

" Robert!!!" Veronica's voice called from the inside saving my skin!

Dashing upstairs I quietly shut my room door, lock it and calmly scrubbed my eyes with soap and hot water.

Afterwards my eyes were burning like Heck but I don't care.

I cut off my lights and go to bed. Saying the words, " Mission Complete!" and hitting the snooze button I became engulfed in beautiful sleep!
