He smiled crookedly. "Yeah I'll see you soon my princess."
I laughed. " Whatever!",almost tripping on sand.
He chuckled and I waved as I went home, making it just in time for dinner.
In my bed, about to sleep, I heard a creaking sound in the dark of the night.
The purring of wind and the screeching of silence.
A shadow with an awfully wide grin stared at me, lit by moonlight.
A hand on the window and a light tapping was heard. He spoke,
"Lilly! Princess! It's me!"
"Oooohhhhh. " I said quietly and walked toward the window.
"You nearly gave me a heart attack! " I said opening the window.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, as his brown eyes reflected mine.
"I missed you, plus gaurds have been more suspicious of my activity here. Can I come in?" He asked as footsteps crunching in sand grew louder.
Hmm...
"Promise not to do anything weird. "
He raised his eyebrow.
"Weird like what?"
"I don't know, like rape me? I don't actually know you very well..."
"Uh yeah. I promise. I'm not that desperate."
"Good." I said stepping aside.
He slipped in and I shut the window screen. The footsteps stopped right below the window and lingered before moving on.
He sighed.
"Thanks princess."
" Yeah How'd you find me by the way?"I asked uneasily.
"I just asked some townsfolk and said that I had something to give you." He nonchalantly said, observing my room.
"Can I chill here until morning? I got to keep my head low."
And talking to villagers is keeping it low?
"Sure, I guess. You can use the guest room. " I said, guiding him quietly downstairs and into the guest room.
While in the process of making him comfortable, a thought came to mind.
"Hey... Do you know my name?" I randomly asked, placing blankets on the bed.
He hummed as he streched.
"Lilly Par."
"What?! How'd you know?!" I asked, turning to face him.
He chuckled.
"It was on your sketchbook."
"Oh." I replied.
"May I know yours?" I asked, fiddling with my fingers.
His white, toothy grin was seen even in the slight darkness.
"Sebastian. Sebastian Tococco King."
"Oooohhhhh." I said and he chuckled.
I dusted my hands, finished with setting up the bed.
"Tell me, do you always sleep in those clothes?" He asked sitting on the fluffy blanket.
I looked at my small shirt exposing my belly and short pants that barely go mid thigh.
I blushed a bit.
" Umm. Well I..... Yeah. " I quickly responded, pulling down my top a bit.
He gave me a side glance and hummed with unhappiness. He was thinking, placing a hand on his chin and moonlight from a nearby window shone through.
"Well, I'm glad that it was me who saw you instead of some other man." He said turning to face the window.
I tilted my head.
"If it did happen, I wouldn't have let him in. You are quite privileged." I said matter-a-factly.
He chuckled.
"I bet I am. You shouldn't get into the habit of having even me come into your room. I am a man after all. " He pointed out
"I won't. Trust me, this is weird enough." I said.
Ready to leave, I bid him a good night and started walking toward the door, but a calloused hand grabbed my wrist.
"Don't leave me princess. " He said nervously.
"Why not?"
"I... Miss you." He said sounding like a child refusing to let his parents leave the room.
"Depends, what do you want me to do?" I asked lifting an eyebrow.
"Just sleep next to me. I'll be gone when you wake up. I... Just don't want to be alone."
I thought about it and sighed.
"Fine. But no kissing, no inappropriate touching and most of all, no SNORING." I made clear and he agreed.
So now, here I am, lying on the other side of the bed with a prince. He's holding my hand and his back is facing me.
After a few moments my eyes twinkled close and I was comfortably asleep.
Sebastian's P.O.V.
Hand in hand, I felt safe. Much like a mothers' comforting touch. This warmness... I must not loose this....
I groaned and pulled the warmth closer in my sleep, shifting my body to fill every nook and cranny and inhaling that intoxicating scent.
I hummed with delight and as the warmth shifted, I shifted. Never wanting to separate myself from this feeling.
A gasp woke me up and I was waaayyyy too close to her. My chin was in the crook of her neck and arms, wrapped around her form.
Shocked, I sat up quickly and backed up. The moonlight illuminated her already form and I felt like I finally saw her attractively.
I gawked in awe and gently streamed my finger down her soft cheek. I paused midway and realized what I was doing.
This is dangerous...
I stepped out the bed and peeked out the window to see double the guards patrolling the area.
Too dangerous....
I looked back at her and sighed to myself.
She really is a princess...
I chuckled.
Too good of a princess. Too good for me at least, and too good to put into trouble.
I walked closer to her form and slowly bent down, craving to place a kiss on her cheek.
I paused.
She said no kissing.
I placed a gentle arm on her shoulder and left immediately, not wanting to risk her safety.
I'll see you soon, princess.
