Ding!
I looked at my phone.
It's the advisor for the King of Hawaii.
Grumbling to myself, I happily ignored his message along with the other ninety nine.
This is getting annoying.
Why are they being so persistent.
*R I N G T O N E*
"UGHHHH!!!"
AHEM.
"Yes, this is Par's phone how may I help you?" I graciously answered.
"Blashapabapha-"
I sighed.
"Yes she left almost a day ago.'
"Blashapa?"
"No. She will arrive on time."
"Blabalblabla?"
"Yes, I will arrive in a few months to meet her employer as agreed. "
"Blanapaba."
"Yes, she is single-"
I rubbed my temples and thought deeply about it.
It's not like him to be so persistent.
I hummed at my phone.
" Is the prince found yet?" I asked as I tapped my fingers on my desk.
I didn't tell anyone, but I saw him on the video taped in the dark of the night.
Lilly seemed to trust him, but I'm not sure if I do yet.
"Don't act like you don't know about his infatuation with my daughter. " I said as I spun around in my chair and pressed a button on the groove of my fireplace.
"Just let it be made sure, that if he steps out of line, I don't care who's government I piss off-" I said, clanking my pistol in place.
"It will be dealt with. Do you understand me?" I threatened.
"We understand you just fine Mr. Par."
My mouth crooked a smile.
"So, you have returned?" I said, placing my gun back onto the wall with it's brothers and sisters, pressing the button again.
"I have, thanks to that tip you left my father. Why, I must thank you." He said flatly.
"My dear boy, you must grow up and face this issue head on and I would appreciate it if you'd leave my daughter out of it-"
"Don't you worry sir, I may have taken a liking to her-" I clenched my teeth.
"You're joking!"
"On the contrary, I'm quite serious, but don't you worry, if anyone tried anything, I'll punish them myself. "
I gulped.
"So, sit back and relax. This may be a bumpy ride-"
Beep.
Beep.
Beep.
Beep.
"She'll be fine." I whispered to myself as I looked at my late wife's picture.
"She's always fine-" I clutched my chest as I began breathing heavily.
She won't end up like she did-
She just won't-
" Honey?"
I jumped at her hand on my shoulder.
"Yes baby? "
"You ok? " She asked, gently rubbing my temple.
I smiled a bit at her.
"Yes honey."
She gently sat on my lap and proceeded to gently kiss my temple.
"Thanks." I smiled at her.
She ruffled my hair and cuddled me until I fell asleep, placing a blanket over my body.
"Good night honey." I heard her whisper before I blanked out and thought of my first wife.
Sorry, I had to let you go, and now I feel as if I'm throwing her into the flame as well.
What should I do?
What should I do?
Martha?
