Walking into school for yet another day with my earphones on full blast, I feel happy because it's sports day!

I chose basketball as my sport because I love playing, there aren't many girls who play on the basketball team at school and as a result of that I was asked by my PE teacher to join, she literally begged me.

I woke up late this morning so now walking in I hear the bell, I usually come to school early so I can see my friends but not today.

"LEXXAAAAAA."

Turning my head around I see orange hair. Nina.

"Yes?" I don't know why I'm questioning her because I clearly know where this conversation is going, why I didn't show up to school early.

"Why weren't you at school earlier?"

Told you, I knew it, every time.

"I have a life Nina just get over it, what did you wanna ask so badly anyway?"

"Well, ugh.... Jason may or may not have invited some of us girls to a dinner thingy." she says shyly.

"What? Come on Nina give me more information." I sigh.

"Well, I've been talking to Justin a bit and Tatiana has been talking to Jason a bit too and Jason suggested our groups should hangout sometime." She says sheepishly.

Both Jason and Justin are alright looking guys, and they are popular but I can't believe my group haven't even told me they have been talking to those guys?

"And the hangout may or may not be tonite."she almost cringes while saying theses words to me.

"Are you serious?!" Is she actually kidding, tonite! We usually never hangout with guys, but I mean like it shouldn't be that bad right?

"Yeah, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner."

"It's alright, can you give me a ride to wherever or whatever we are doing?"

"thank you so much Lexa! You get along with the guys anyway." she says with a huff, she is so jealous!

"So is that a yes? Can you take me? And what should I wear?"

"Yeah, but we will be carpooling. Just wear casual clothing, stuff you can run around in."

With that she spins on her heels and runs to class. Seeing the time, I see I only have a minute to class so I bolt.

Running as quick as my long legs will take me I reach my science class. Did I tell you I hate science? I actually use to be really good at it until I just kept on getting shit teachers, I guess I just disliked it from them.

Stepping my foot in the door I hear the bell go off, I glance at the teacher unpacking her stuff on the table and look for a seat, in the back row I see someone waving their hand with long black wavy hair and olive toned skin. Tatiana! Thank god, running over to her I jump in the seat she has reserved for me.

"Thank you so much for saving me a seat."

"Well I honestly wouldn't really want to sit next to someone else, who else would I copy?" Hearing her say this makes me sigh.
