Chapter 53: baby's first beach day

I felt horrible when I woke up from my nap. I walked into the bathroom and looked at the mirror. "Mikey!" I yelled getting very nauseas. When I got to the toilet he was already in there helping me. He tied my hair back and got me a wet rag, then he started to rub circles into my back. When I was done I started to cry. "No no don't cry Liv it's okay! I'm here for you its okay. It's just the little tiny fetus growing inside of you." I started to laugh through my tears and Michael smiled with me. He flushed the toilet as I wiped my mouth and then washed my face. As I was washing my face. Luke came barging in with Adi. "We heard crying, so we came to the rescue." He posed like a super hero as Adelaide did grabby hands for me. I grabbed her and held her up above my head. She laughed so hard she got the hiccups, which scared her so bad, she cried. "Oh no Uncle Mike we got a crier. I think someone needs tickled!" I said running and throwing her on the bed. "Here comes the tickle monster!" He yelled jumping onto my bed. I stood back next to Luke and leaned on his shoulder. "Thanks for watching her while I slept. That means a lot to me." I looked up at him as I rested my chin on his shoulder. "Yeah I know how hard it is to have a baby and then a baby on the way. You gotta remember I raised kids that weren't even mine for 5 or 6 years." He said looking down at me, but then kissing my forehead and resting his head on mine. "You don't have to help me with her if you don't want to. I don't want you to feel obligated just because you have experience with Arzaylea's." I frowned as he lifted his head up. "I want to help you clean up Calum's mess and help build up the foundation of a family he left behind." He smiled at me as he grabbed my phone and started to record Mikey. I soon ran over and started to tickled Adi, but then she 'got' me and tried to tickle me. I went with it until she hurt my belly. "Oooh baby watch out. You see my belly? Mommy's got a baby growing in there and you're gonna be the best big sister in the world."

A little bit later we all decided to go out to the beach to swim and play in the sand so I grabbed my camera and started to film. "Hey guys, look! We're all on vacation. I'm here with Luke, Michael, Ashton, Angelina, Meli, and Adelaide. Now today, as you can tell from the title, is Adi's first time at the beach. We're gonna let her play in the sand and then a little later when the tide isn't as bad we're gonna take her in. I think while she's in the sand I might send the guys around the island to try and find a tide pool. So she has a small body of water to play in." I stopped recording as we walked down the wet, slippery, stone staircase outside. When we got down there I asked Angelina to film as I set Adi on the sand. "Ok baby! You ready? Here we go!" I set her down and she immediately dug her toes into the sand. She got the biggest smile on her face as Ashton sat down on the blanket a little bit away from us. "Come on Adi! Walk to Uncle Ash! Come on honey you can do it!" He cheered her on and she tried to run at him. "You see Adi, you try to run to him, but you can't walk by yourself just yet. Maybe by the end of the month. But I'm still gonna hold onto you for now." She was still all smiles as I said this. When she finally got over to Ashton. She did grabby hands towards him, fell on her butt, and started to cry. Ashton immediately picked her up and shooed me away. "It's Ash and Adi bonding time. Say 'go away mummy I want uncle ash!' " I giggled at Ashton's childish ways and thanked Angelina as she gave me back my camera. "I don't know if you guys noticed, but Meli bought me and Adelaide these matching mommy & me swimsuits and it's the cutest shit I have ever seen!"
