An incident three years ago in Shadybrook occurred when ten girls went missing and only one was found dead. She had unusual markings that seemed uncapable for a human to possess.
Now Ariana is moving into Shadybrook to pursue her dream, but what if...
I went home right after Z and I got some milkshakes after school. Getting home early is boring especially when you live alone.
Living this way without parents as a teenager is risky but I'd rather be unaccompanied then be with them. I don't wanna' say why though.
I can maintain myself anyways. Since I'm still bored and there's nothing to do. I'm just gonna' go outside. When I step out of the apartment one of my neighbors comes out as well. I've never noticed her before.

"Hey?" She says. I think I was staring at her. She awkwardly smiles and walks away but I have to go in the same direction as her to exit the building. I'm minding my own business and whatever when we're walking down the stairs, then the girl spins around to face me. "Hey are you that new girl everyone's been talkin' bout?"
"Am I just a new girl?" The girl smirks and shakes her head.
"Small town. No newcomers. Population always stays the same." She leans on the railing.
"I'm Ariana." I cross my arms together and it suddenly becomes cold.
"I'm Zoe." She looks down the staircase and back up, "Say I was gonna' head out and get a burger alone. Wanna come? I got money." Zoe pats her hand on her right pocket.
"I'll pay for myself." I nod and we start going down the stairs. Who knew making friends was this easy.
"You wanna know something?" She pushes the door to exit the building and we're outside. A gust of wind makes our hair dance. We both don't bother pulling it away.
"What?" I am already intrigued. The sound of cracking leaves happen as our shoes step on them. We're heading to the right.
"See that house over there?" I gaze in her direction. It was across the street from our apartment. Well to the right of us, because right in front of the apartment is the forest. {The house on left corner is the house they're talking about}

I nod. "Well someone barely moved in there. I'm tryna see who it is." We passed the house and tried looking inside but everything seemed closed. "Looks like nobody is home."
