Okay okay! Today is the day of training for the job. Before I leave I look at myself in the mirror. I run my hand through my ponytail and do several poses. Yeah I look good. I grab my keys and pat my pockets but my phone isn't there. I furrow my eyebrows and try to remember where I left it. Out of a sudden the ring of my phone goes off and I hear it coming from my room. I walk over to it and see it on the bed. I grab it and it's an incoming call from an unknown number. I answer it anyways, "Hello?" It's silent but I can hear faint breathing. I've already had a creepy call and I'm not up for it again. I'm about to hang up when a voice speaks, "Hanging up on me again?"
"Who the hell are you?" I immediately talk back. I can't recognize the voice, it sounds like a guy but the voice has no emotion.
"I don't know you tell me?" He asks.
"I'm hanging up you creep."
"Last time we barely talked. Don't go just yet." That's when he grabbed my attention.
"You're the same person from last time?" I ask and sit down on my bed.
"Mhm. Now Ariana, I know you're new and everything but not everyone is who you think they are in this town." What the actual fuck, how did he get my name?
"Listen-" I get up from my bed, "Stop calling me. Next time you're going straight to the cops." I hang up and turn around to see that the window is open even though I think I just closed all windows before leaving. I walk around the bed and to the window. I grab the frame and push it down. Outside my window the view is the house where that guy moved in, well the back of the house since this is the back of the apartment.
Anyways I should get to training. Wish me luck.
