And to think, for the past two years, three hours ago even, I wouldn't have dreamed of coming back. Of seeing all of them again. The impossible didn't even have time to become possible, it just happened. I have never been happier.

Although the faction system had become a danger, and it has been a long time since I had been in a faction, thought about them lately, I still slightly missed them. Their feeling of safety, of separation from any danger, and anyone who wasn't like you. After living sixteen years in that surrounding, the belief that it was the only way to live, it was hard to let go.

But standing here, with Tobias, with my brother, with my friends, not separated by a faction, by belief. Just being together without arguing about differences in practice or teachings. It is all so much nicer than what the factions could ever offer us.

I was able to quickly fall in love with this new-found freedom. I could be Selfless and jump off trains at the same time. I wasn't hunted for being different. It is something that hasn't and will not cease to amaze me. Although I couldn't really live in full fledged freedom for the past while, I may be able to now. I just hope that it stays like this.

Tobias and I walk out of his apartment and into the nearest hallway. A figure runs towards me and pulls me in a hug. Their skin is warm brown. "Christina!" I exclaim and hug her back.

"Tris!" She shouts and pulls away. Her grin stretches through her whole face, tugging the ends of her mouth up. The last time I saw her this happy was during initiation, when she told me about her feelings for Will. I train my thoughts from Will, who I killed during war, and put my focus back on Christina. Christina was my first friend, but she had many. It was nice to know she cared the same about me as I did for her.

"I-I can't believe it! Wha-" she cuts hersef off, judging by the look on her face she understood that I wouldn't want to explain right then. I forgot how easily she can read people. She clears her throat and restarts "I'm just so, I don't even have words to explain just how happy I am." I smile. Tobias rests his hand on my shoulder and Christina's eyes dart around me to him. "Well, someone must be chipper now." she says to him, a smile once again creeping across her face. She focuses her attention back on me again. "Maybe we'll actually see a side of him that doesn't mutter under his breath." Tobias chuckles. "See!" she laughs "We're already on our way." She smiles, and joins us on our walk to nowhere in particular. I appreciate the fact that she talked to me as if I was present yesterday.

Hey guys, I'm sorry my chapters are so short. They'll be getting longer soon, I promise!
