PROLOGUE
"Have you fallen for me?"
I gasped. Pakiramdam ko'y lalabas na ang puso ko sa sobrang lakas ng hampas nito. My hands are sweating. Even my whole body is shaking. With his face this close to mine, breathing became such a hard thing to do.
"Have you? Hmm?"
"Y-yes..." I answered, I'm almost breathless.
I saw how his face slowly turned into something dark and dangerous. He quickly straightened and stepped back. He looked... I don't know... furious and... pained?
I rose to my feet. Kahit na nanghihina ako dahil sa mga tingin na ipinukol niya kanina.
"Yes... I have fallen for you." I bravely confessed.
"What did you say?"
Hindi ko alam pero sa kabila ng galit na ipinapakita niya ngayon ay gumaan ang loob ko. Dahil finally nasabi ko. Parang nabunutan ako ng tinik sa dibdib.
"I have fallen for you, Brennon. I'm in love with you." Akmang lalapit ako sa kanya pero madali siyang umatras na para bang mapapaso siya.
I breathed. This is now or never...
""What makes you think that I am your princecharming? I'm not your prince charming, Cinderella. Don't fall for me you'll just save this as regret. I'm telling you, I'm bad for you."
He said turning his back on me. Of course he's not a prince charming. He can't be.
He's arrogant.
He never cared about anyone else's feelings.
He's self-centered.
He's a plain jerk.
He has everything l could hate.
Ironic it is. Because no matter how ruthless of a person he is, he still made me fall hard. Damn hard.
