We both decided to settle for a Chinese food for lunch dahil medyo nag crave din ako nun. Madalas talaga ako ang pinapapili niya. Hinahayaan niya ako lagi mag decide para sa amin.

Our routine went on like that for days. In the morning, he would pick me up. And then we'd eat together during lunch break. Pag may importanteng meetings naman, sinasama niya ako. The he'd drop at home after work.

Masaya ako. Sobra.

Hindi ko lubos akalain na aabot ako sa puntong ito. I thought I would never reach him no matter how hard I try. But here we are now.

"You have something to do this weekend?" I asked while we're waiting for our food to arrive.

"Why?" he asked.

"Uhm... w-well... I was just thinking if we could, like hang out or something."

Hindi pa kasi kami nagkakasama during weekend. Sa office lang talaga kami nagkikita.

I reached for the glass of water and took a sip.

"You want a date?" he asked kaya nasamid ako nang konti. Kailangan kaya ako masasanay sa pagiging straight forward niya?

"Uhh... I-I mean–"

"Alright, let's have date." He declared. "I'll clear my schedule this Saturday."

"You don't really have to if you have prior commitments. It must be something important."

Ayoko naman na iwanan niya yung mga importanteng bagay just because I wanted time. I mean, we can always find time. Hindi naman kailangan balewalain kung tungkol naman yun sa kompanya nila.

"No. And you're more important than a casual gathering."

"Oh," that was all I could say. Sometimes, I like how direct to the point he is. Most of the time, it just renders me speechless.

"So what do you want to do?" he asked when I stayed silent.

"I don't want anything fancy." I replied. "I just... I just want to spend time with you."

I just want to do what normal couples do. Watch a movie, stroll around, hold hands, and stuffs. Kaso nahihiya akong sabihin.

"Alright."

I woke up a little early on a Saturday morning. Brennon said he would pick me up at 9. I really have no idea what we would do today because he hasn't said a thing so I just opted for a white wrap dress and a nude block sandals just to be safe.

He was already waiting outside when I went out of the house, wearing gray khaki pants and navy blue polo shirt. Palagi siyang iniimbitahan ni Manang na pumasok but he would always refuse and would just insist na maghihintay na lamang siya sa labas.

He opened the shotgun's door for me at agad naman akong sumakay. Umikot naman siya papunta sa driver's seat at pinaandar na ang sasakyan.

We're both silent during the drive. Hindi ko narin siya tinanong kung saan kami pupunta. I'll just let him surpise me.

After 30 minutes, natanaw ko na ang mall. The same mall kung saan kami unang nagkita which they actually own as well. He maneuvered the car towards the basement at nagpark na.

"You can check first which movie you prefer," he said as he turned off the engine and unbuckled his seatbelt.

"How did you know I wanted to watch a movie?" I asked because I seriously didn't voice it out.

He shrugged. Lumapit siya sa akin at siya na mismo ang nag-alis ng seatbelt ko.

"I just figured," he replied.
