"what is the matter Bobo?" I looked away and stood up

"I've said what I had to say and now I'm leaving"

"Dabobo" he held my hand and pulled me back "at the very least tell me what has saddened you so much" I sucked in a deep breath and turned to him

"your son doesn't have feelings for me and I have managed to have some for him in these past few weeks. He isn't proud of our marriage and still sees me as a Manchester. I can't live like that" I paused and swallowed hard "and besides I only got married to respect my father's whishes and I don't have to do that anymore"

"Bobo listen to me, I know this marriage was one of convenience and that you weren't so willing but you have to stay married to him."

"I don't have to marry anybody , I have rights! I'm human you know! Not some damned property"

"if you don't remained married to him, I am afraid that harm may come to your father"

What?

"what do you mean by that?" Kaden chuckled and I took a quick step back

"daddy dearest made a promise and you think he'd break it just like that" I opened the door and he suddenly spoke

"close the door Bobo and take a seat" I felt my legs walk on their own accord to the seat and I felt magnetized to it. Mia walked in along side Kaleb

"listen up here afro, you will do as we say and not utter any word"

"hmm! Hmm!" they all chuckled and I felt my lips seal against one another. Kaleb appeared with some ropes and tied my hands against the arm rest.

"you may speak" I suddenly felt a heavy weight lifted off my shoulder but then he held his hand signaling for me to wait

"let us call daddy dearest first" he picked up a phone and turned it on after connecting it to the television. Father's face appeared and I gasped in shock.

There he was; my father, locked in a room pacing back and forth. Kaden chuckled then spoke into the speaker

"hello Lucas" dad turned and his face was in alignment with the camera

"cowards all of you!" Kaden chuckled and father sneered

"be careful what you say Luke, we have your precious spawn right in our midst" father paled and his eyes turned red

"where is she?!" fire came from his hands and he aimed them at the wall but they just bounced back. I struggled against the ropes and Kaleb turned to me

"stay still" I felt my will power leave me again as I stopped struggling

"well she wants to break ties with the O'Neil's , against daddy dearest whishes" he chuckled and turned to him

"the only reason why the two of you are still alive is because we need you to bring Seyi back , and guess what?"

"what?" he snarled and Mia smiled

"After we bring Seyi back, we will kill you both" they all laughed and father's eyes turned to a darker shade of red

"I will kill you all Kaden , mark my word. Even if you want me dead fine that's understandable but also Bobo? What did she ever do to you!?" Kaden turned his head and hung up making the screen grow blank

My cheeks were stained with tears and Kaleb loosened the ropes

"Bobo we" I tried to open my mouth to speak but I couldn't . I turned my head to the other side and Kaleb cradled my face

"Bobo you may speak" I gasped and held onto my chest. Mia ran to my side and I stood up from the chair quickly.

"Bobo please calm down, we didn't mean what we said just listen" I covered my ears with my two palms and ran into the bathroom

"Dabobo open the door please" I ran close and I bumped into the tap. The sound of water pouring sounded and I moved away from it. Mia opened the door and I moved back

"stay away from me" I raised my hands up and the water mirrored my movement. Mia took a step back and I mirrored her movements Kaleb walked in and held my hand . I raised my other hand to cover my face but Kaleb and I were drentched in water. I pushed him aside and ran out of the room

"stop! Lock the door ! lock the door!!" Mia and Kaleb were after me but then Kaden glided down the stairs with ease

"Stop right there Dabobo" my legs stopped moving and Kaleb along with his mum stopped running after me

"Take note Kaleb, the key to controlling is to be in control" I managed a step forward and felt a pull draw me back.

"a fighter, just like your mother, now Dabobo take a seat, we have much to discuss" my legs worked themselves to the couch. I sat down and Kaden took a seat opposite me

"Dabobo, I know we've broken your trust in so many ways that are unforgivable but you have to listen to me and what my family have to say" I nodded with the tears silently sliding down my face

"we had to capture Luke to ensure Seyi's safety" he pasued then turned to me "and yours" wale walked into the room and stared at me then Kaden then to me again

"what is happening here?" I opened my mouth to speak but Kaden beat me to it

"don't you say a word Bobo" my mouth sealed itself shut and wale raised his hands. The plant from the flower pot grew towards Kaden's direction and covered his whole body ; including his eyes and lips.

"Bobo, tell me what's wrong" the tears fell more as I was unable to speak. He opened his arms and I ran into them. I instantly felt safe as he wrapped his arms around me

"you're okay, come lets go for a little trip" he held my hand and pulled me outside the door, ignoring the protest of Kaden and his family
