She's okay
He's excited
She feels joyful to finally be in highschool
He's excited because it's his first day of school
She's glad to see her old friends
He can't wait to make knew friends
She doesn't notice him
He's hypnotised by her brown eyes
She is too busy chatting and making new friends
He can tell she has a bubbly personality
To her he is just background
He's intrigued by the darkness in her eyes
Everybody loves her
He loves her

"Happy birthday, Rose"
He wishes he could talk to her
She's assigned a group mate by her math teacher
The thought of finally getting her attention drives him crazy
She's irritated because she's not with her friends
He can't wait to get to school
Now he's her friend
He just keeps on falling for her
They are close now; she trusts him
She's his own now; at least he tells himself that
Everyone thinks something is going on between them
She's confused
He's astounded

She's happy
He's happy because she is happy
She falls for someone
He's heartbroken because he thought he finally had a chance
She's falling deeply in love
But he's still holding on
She's smiling
But he can tell she's distant
She feels lonely
He is concerned
She's walking home
He is walking behind her
She's too quiet
So he calls her name
She turns her head
"I'm worried", he says
"I'm okay" is her reply
"The darkness you're confining; its emerging"
She can only bow in shame
He tells her, "some of us still care about you"
She rolls her eyes
"It's true. I love you, Rose"
She's confused, but she rejects him
He expected it, but he is still heartbroken
She walks away
But he still loves her
She keeps on rejecting him
Yet he keeps on telling her, "I love you, Rose"
She's not interested
He knows she never gave him a chance
She knows it too
15
Again, "happy birthday, Rose"
But she doesn't feel happy
He wishes he was with her
She misses him
He still loves her
She's still confused, but now she thinks she loves him too
He is gradually giving up on loving her
She is rueful
He thinks he is melancholic
She couldn't let him close enough to hurt her
He would've done anything to always make her feel like a queen
His queen
She couldn't risk rescuing him only for him to desert her
Had she given him the chance, he would've stayed by her side; always
She's going crazy
He's giving up
She knows it's wrong
He can't keep on trying
She knows she has no right to
But he loves her
But she loves him
Still, he can't keep on waiting
And she can't keep on hoping
For someone he knows he can never have
For someone she knows she can never have
