SIAH 21: LEAVING HIM

Yhael's Point of View

Another chapter of my life ends and another chapter is ready to be open. I am again facing another journey of my life, I know I need to prepare again myself and face it. If there's a new chapter then there is also new me, as I open it I am wishing that it is a good and a happy one, well I am not expecting a merryful one but somehow I am hoping that it is great to be spend.

I feel excited and nervous too, and I don't know why. I am holding a paper bag, inside it is the pezto I cooked, I'm really hoping that she'd like it.

"Youngman, mind giving the thing your holding?. Is not good holding that all the time, isn't it?"

I was back on my senses when an old man behind my back talked. I turned to face my father.

"Pa! Hindi pwede! Baka hindi niyo ingatan para kay Eunna 'to." I answered back. He smirked, and that smirk made me shiver.

"Can you please, stop thinking about Eunna just for this moment. Son, think also for yourself just this moment too?. Kahit ngayon lang anak." I shook my head in disapproval. Oh well, my father would not believe me and he will not understand me.

"I can't Pa."

"Yhael, isipin mo munang gra--"

"Requesting all the graduates to go backstage, the program will start any minute, thank you."

"Agian, requesting all the graduates to go backstage for the program will start any minute, thank you."

Some voice said kaya hindi na naituloy ni Papa ang sasabihin niya. Nagpaalam muna ako kila Mama at Papa before I left them kinuha din pala ni Papa 'yong paper bag na hawak ko sinabi ko ng ok lang pero my Papa is a hardheaded person. So we graduates sabay sabay na pumuntang backstage. Nang makapunta na akong backstage hinanap agad ng mga mata ko ang babaeng gustong gusto kong makita.

"Where is she?," I ask to myself.

"Is everyone here? The program will already start. Prepare yourselves graduates." Sabi ng instructor namin. Agad-agad? Eunna is not here pa.

"Ma'am, Eunna--"

"I'm sorry Ma'am I am late." tumingin kaming lahat sa taong kararating lang at humihingal pa.

I smile form in my face. Damn, she is so gorgeous, kahit nakatoga siya ang ganda ganda pa rin niya. I fvcking can't take off my eyes to her, the color of our toga matches her so much, mas lalong lumabas ang kaputian niya and though she wears light make-up parang normal lang. Kahit nga walang make-up maganda pa rin siya.

"It's ok. So guys, form yourselves already, ofcourse the awardees will be infront according to what we practiced, ok?. Kaya ikaw miss Leighton ayusin mo, they will follow you." Our instructor clap her hands

"Go to your places now!," she continued saying. As what she said, lumabas kaming backstage at pumunta sa kanya kanyang pwesto namin. Well, as usual malayo ang pagitan namin ni Eunna, gano'n talaga Valeditorian eh.

The program started, at naganap ang normal na nangyayari kung graduation day. Ang hindi lang normal ay, I have mixed emotions, I feel happy, I feel nervous and I feel lonely. Ang hindi ko lang alam kung ano ang dahilan ng nararamdaman ko, my hands are sweating mukhang kinakabahan ako. Siguro sa excitement ko 'to for my speech later and nervousness sa pagbibigay ko ng gift kay Eunna mamaya.
