Ch.1- What's The Point?

Nina-I can't believe I'm finally 15 years old and it's 2018. Time is going so fast that I haven't even made any new friends at the Early Collage and it's almost time for EOG soon when May arrives.

"Remember students, your math test will be this Friday so be prepare and get plenty of rest. Goodbye." My math teacher told us as we were excuse to go to our next period which was Social Studies.

"Hey Nina." I saw a friend from Middle School and it was Adore Slade. Me and her are friends and I'm actually glad she did manage to sign to get accepted.

"Hey." I wave at her.

She ran over and we walked to class together,well she has ELA next and she was just offering herself to take me to class.

"Adore what's the point of if I don't want to work with the new school that I am in now?" I asked her as she looked at me confused.

"What do you mean? The high school in Ahoskie is like minmaze compare to here and we have to do our work in order to get privaledge. "She told me as she left to go to her class.

The rest of the day I stayed silent and never talked so when the day was over I then got myself ready to go home.

"Why do I even bother to even come here when I can have more friends to talk to? I missed Brandy,Kaleigh....." I sighed as I began to walk home thinking about them.

It wasn't long until I reach high school that I wish to be in since my friends are all in there like it's a party building in there. I might as well just forget about it since I'm trap in the other high school I'm in now.

When I saw my mom's car I can tell she was piss when I left the school house and walked all the way here. So she drove us home that way I can study for my test this Friday and that meant no procrastination.

"Nina, dinner will be cooked and when your finish studying you can come eat." Mom told me as I went to my room.

'This is hopeless for me to even do anything but to study. I wish my friends were here with me.' I thought as my necklace began to glow and I just forgot that I don't have the teleport key anymore since Kaleigh had destroy it.

When it glowed I heard the door knocking non-stop as I got up to see Kaleigh, Brandy, Charlie, and Vashaun.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked them as they looked at me emotionless and a little happy to see me.

"You need to learn how to control that necklace the same way we had the teleport key." Vashaun said in a serious kind of way.

"I'm sorry, but I was missing you guys so much and I have been thinking of getting away from that school I was in." I said as I went to my room to he my bookbag for me to get plenty of space away from school.

"Wait.....we already did took a break away from school since Kaleigh went crazy with the devil inside her." Brandy said and Kaleigh glared at her.

"That only happened once and I couldn't help that weirdo was inside me." She said as we giggle.

"So what time period do you guys want to go because I got a test on Friday." I asked them before wrapping my bookbag around my waste.

"Why do you need to ask us when you have the teleport necklace?" Charlie asked.

"Well.....because.....lets just go for now." I gave up explaining Charlie to this that we are now outside and I'm glad dad hasn't come back from work.

"So how do I work this thing?" I asked them and they shrugged.

"Try thinking about what time period you want to be in and it might take us there." Brandy suggested.

"Okay."

I then thought about the Jackson's back in 1977 the year my mom was almost born which is 1978 and that's when a portal was coming out that showed the past of 1977.

"Let's go!" I yelled to them as I jump in the portal as they followed me inside.

Charlie- We enter inside the portal and notice that we were in Motown records of music and I could tell that this was not like what it was now.

"It's like we're all born into the 70's. So where shall we go?" I asked them.

"Maybe we can look around the city for a bit." Vashaun said.

We walked out the record store and walked down the sidewalk that people suddenly look at us weirdly and whisper to each other about our looks.

"Uh guys, I just realize that these people are looking at our clothing that  is very different from theirs. "I whisper to them.

"So? Just ignore the staring." Vashaun said as I rolled my eyes.

"So how far are we going to be sightening around the city?" Kaleigh asked.

"I think we should go stop by a place to eat since we just arrived." Brandy suggested as we agreed.

"Anybody see a fast food place?" Vashaun asked.

"I see Pizza Hut." I pointed over to restaurant.

"Great, let's go eat." Nina said.

We then went inside and saw people ordering, chatting, laughing all of that.

"Do we have any money to pay for the pizza?" Nina asked.

"I got it cover." Vashaun and Brandy said as they took out their wallets.

"What would you like kids?" The man asked.

"We would like a pepperoni pizza with extra pepperoni and cheese please." Brandy ordered.

"Okay that'll be......$12.20 please."

They payed for the pizza as we sat down and wait until it arrives.

"So what do you think about this time? It might be a little weird from the way everyone is dressed, but at least it's like the same thing back in our time." Nina said as she stretched her arms out.

"Well....I guess you can say that after we have trouble with internet service." I said as my stomach growled.

"Someone's hungry like us." Kaleigh teased.

"Here you go you kids." The man gave our pizza and left.

"Damn, this is delicious." Vashaun said with his mouth watering at the beauty of its delicious image.

"Let's eat!"

23 minutes later....

BURPPP!!!

Nina- That was delicious!

"Say, why not we go see what else they have around here."  I suggested as we exit the pizza place.

"I can't believe that this is the first time I'm in 1977 with you guys." Brandy said.

"Yeah, and especially when you took me and- RAPE!" Kaleigh screamed pointing at......

"Kaleigh, your going to make a scene to whoever your pointing at." I said as I rolled my eyes.
