I can't believe it's our first time getting a job for our friends in 1977.
"What time will they be back?" Janet asked me for the 9th time.
"Let's see I have they're work schedule in my hands to see what time they have to get there on time and leave to come home. "I told her as we look at together.
Work Schedule
Charlie
Mon- Thur:6:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Vashaun
Mon-Fri:6:00 a.m.- 7:30 p.m.
Brandy
Wed- Tues:5:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Nina
Tues- Frid: 7:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Kaleigh
Fri- Wed:10:05 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
"Those are the weirdest days of the week for someone to get to work on time." She said with her face scrunch up.
"Haha! Janet it's not my fault that they're workin' Day and Night like this and not spending any time with us." I told her she huffed.
We both heard the door ajar that revealed Jackie with with the others with him.
"Hey guys, how was work?" I asked them.
"Tiring." Charlie said.
"Humiliating. "Kaleigh said.
"Hardworking." Brandy said.
"Stress." Vashaun said.
"All right." Nina said.
"All right?" They look at her crazy in the face.
"Well you guys go wash up, mother already made supper for you." I told them as they ran up the stairs.
Kaleigh-
Once we washed up all of us went back downstairs to the dining room where the food was served.
"I'm starving." Vashaun said with a mouthful of chicken.
"Manners." Katherine scold him.
"My bad." He apologized.
"So what do you guys feel about these jobs your entertain in?" Joseph asked.
"It feels more like we were working with the child labor laws they did in the factory." Charlie spoke up.
"Ah, c'mon you guys. Have some spirit in ya." Jackie encourage.
"The spirit that we have is tiredness." I corrected him.
"Okay, then why don't you all hit the sack so that way you can wake up with a whole lot of energy in the morning. "La'Toya gesture them to go up stairs to go to bed.
"I can't believe that they are so tired." Marlon said.
"I can't believe they waisted all of this food." Randy blurt out. We glared at him and took they're plates so that way he won't put his filthy hands on they're food for lunch tomorrow.
