chapter 4- what's there?

sorry for the lack of stories. but my computer has been broke since saturday, and i am slowly melting away. i've been filling my note books up with stories though, ready to type and post.

Chapter 4- what’s there?

The path to the woods was a rocky path, me and rock tipped toe, quietly. 

Rock peeked his head in first, “wow, I cant believe what I see” rock whispered, 

I peeked my head over and there was someone who I haven’t seen before, 

“that’s Daryl, he’s the islands mad scientist, funny, he’s the one who told us be in our houses before, 11:00pm. Or else.” rock whispered again.

“or else what?” I asked. I was answered by Daryl, talking to something,

“where’s the food, I told you to bring, mutt?!” Daryl barked after he moved out of the way,

And there was something I would have never guessed Id see, little skip was tide up to a tree. “ S-skip?” I stuttered.

Rock must have saw the look in my eyes, I was mad!, cause just then he whispered in my ear “don’t, its not worth it!”

Skip looked around, went to a strawberry plant, took the last one, brought it over to Daryl, ate it, and howled again.

“why you mutt!” Daryl yelled about to grab skip.

I couldn’t take it anymore! I burst out from my hiding spot, and yelled “don’t you talk to my dog, that way!” I looked as mad as Cody!

“you‘d better get on home little missy. I‘m warning you!” Daryl yelled

“let go of my dog right now! Or else.” I threatened. Never mess with a girl, who can get a farm tool very quickly.

“shhh! you’ll wake…him! That food wasn’t for me, it was for-” Daryl yelled when he stopped and ran off back to town.

I ran over to skip, so did rock. “skip are ok?” I asked the poor dog, when I got him untied, right then skip ran in my arms, I wrapped my arms around him.

“umm, Emily, we may want to get out of here, like…now!” rock said trying to get me to leave. He was standing up and looking up at something.

“why?” I said getting up off my knees and wiping them off with my hand as I held skip close to me.

“that’s why!” rock yelled as he pointed to the big tree, and there from behind it, a big white hairy monster, came out from behind.

“ahhh.” the beast screamed.

Skip jumped out of my arms and started to run away with rock, for once they seemed to have something in common they both run away like babies, until rock saw me in shock, I didn’t even noticed until the beast was right in front of me!

“come on!” rock yelled from in front of the woods. “oh, your lucky you’re the new girl!” rock yelled again as he ran back towards me. He grabbed my arm and stared to run for my farm. I started to run as rock started to pull me.

“what was that thing?!” I yelled as we ran

“don’t care, just run!!” rock yelled as he pulled me into my house. Rock fell on my floor, next to skip, who was completed passed out. “T-that thing, they say it was a hairy…beast stuck on this island since…the dinosaurs, the doctor…says its just a man in a costume, but nobody will…take the chance.”

“W-we just took that chance! And it is no man in a costume!” I said laying on my bed out of breath.

“I-I should get going its getting late.” rock said getting up and opening the door, still out of breath.
