Chapter 9-WHAT HAPPENED TO SLEEPING?!?!

In the morning, while I was still asleep, I heard,

“hand me the twisters.” it sounded like Lumina

“ok here you go.” Hugh’s voice said coming from the left of me.

“shhh! You’ll wake her!” Lumina said coming from the right.

“why are we doing this again? My mom will ask questions when I get home, or when I don’t wake up in 3 hours.” Hugh said back to Lumina, finally I was wide awake, but I didn’t get up, I wanted to see what they doing,

“she’s been brain washed remember? I’m going to bring her back, I have been keeping a book, how to brain wash people, and one of the chapters are, how to de-brain wash people!” Lumina said with an excited voice.

“ok, first off, I’ll get in trouble for brain-washing people or de-brain-washing people, second off, those aren’t the scissors, those are pliers, and third off, aren’t you too big to do any of this  stuff?” Hugh asked as I felt them get closer.

“no you wont, not if we get home in time, please hand me the scissors, and yes I’m too big for this, but nothing goes on around this town anymore, or I would probably be asleep.” Lumina said coming closer to me. Then I felt something move under my blankets, it wasn’t my leg! The two kids must have noticed the thing too, cause they got really quite. Then I heard a thump on the ground! But it sounded more like animal nails hitting the ground.

“what was that?” I heard Hugh ask Lumina in a quite small voice.

“I don’t know!” Lumina said sounding like she was about to cry, I wanted to cry too. Then the door to the outside, closed, the kids must have left it opened, so they could get in and out. I heard a growl, like it was a bear, or something.

“I’m scared!” Hugh said to Lumina,

“me too!” Lumina said back to Hugh. I heard Lumina run from one side to the other. Then, somehow the lights came on and off and on and off, over and over again. Then the growling again!

“ahhh!” Hugh and Lumina screamed at the same time, so loud I sat up!

“what are you too, doing in my house?” I asked when I saw them on the floor, little Hugh was holding onto Luminas arm.

“this place is hunted!” Hugh screamed as he jumped on my bed and hid under my covers!

“I don’t think your ghost likes us!” Lumina said as she hid behind me. I looked around the room, to see what it was, but when I saw it I felt so stupid, I laughed!

“what’s so funny?” Hugh asked from under my covers.

“you guys may want to check that out!” I said laughing my head off and pointing at the chair by the light switch. Hugh appeared at the other end of my bed and Lumina stayed right where she was, and sitting on the chair by the light switch, was little skip, first he growled, and then he started turning the light on and off with his mouth. All three of us couldn’t stop laughing, my animals are a lot smarter then I see them as.

“maybe you guys should get home.” I said as Lumina and Hugh started to fall asleep where they were.

“that’s smart.” Lumina said in a sleepy voice

“yeah, so smart, I want mommy.” Hugh said, not reliving he sounded like a baby, when he said the word mommy.

“wake up!” I whispered/ yelled to Hugh when I got to his house.

“I don’t have an excuse, I’ve been thinking of one, for hours!” Hugh said in a sleepy voice.

“first off, its been minutes, and second of…” I would have finished but, I heard footsteps behind me. Hugh got off storm, who rode the two kids her. The little boy must have forgotten, he snuck out because, he knocked on the door! A lady with orange hair opened the door.
