Holy crap, she is in the same car as me. what do I do? talk to her.. no! don't freak her out Lincoln, play it cool, just act normal.

Kamron claps his hands, jolting me from my internal battle. He is parking in the bowling ally parking lot, I glance in the rearview mirror at Kendall. She is still staring out the window, as if there was something interesting going on.

I sigh, and unbuckle my seat belt. Then I hop out of the car, and watch as Kendall hurries away with Ryan not far behind her. I stare longingly after her, wishing she would just give me the time of day. She was definitely not like other girls. Every other girl, would take any chance they had to throw themselves at me. But not Kendall, in fact Kendall seemed disgusted by me.

" hey man, maybe this isn't a good idea" I say leaning over to Liam.

he punches me on the arm. " ow!" I rub my arm, and glared at Liam. did he always have to act like such a kid?

" dude! no, you need to march in there and get the lady. Come on man, you have gotten dozens you can get her"

I shrug, Kendall wasn't like other girls. I still needed to give it a shot, so without giving myself a chance  to rethink more. I walk into the bowling ally, Liam travels behind me No doubt there is a huge grin splayed on his face.

...

I smile, as Kendall granny styles it. She throws the bowling ball as far as she can, the ball instantly goes into the gutter. Ryan breaks into a fit  of laughter, when Kendall turns and gives her a mocking bow. then she smiles, a perfect smile. I feel like it lights up my whole world, it brightens her face making her seem more loose, then up tight.

I find myself wishing that I was the reason behind that smile, it would make my day if I could make hers.

I watch Kendall walk over to Ryan, Kendall pulls out her money. " anyone want something to eat?" she asks.

" can you get my a pepsi?" asks Kamron, he hands her a five dollar bill, then goes back to throwing his bowling ball.

Kendall nods, and starts to walk towards the food court. I look at Liam, who is frantically prompting me to go after her.

The cashier smiles flirtatiously, for some reason I want to punch him. I quicken my pace, so that when I reach her she is just finishing her order.

" and that's all" she says.

the cashier smiles again, and nods. Then he disappears into the back.

I rub my hands together nervously.

okay, time to work some magic.

" hey."

Kendall jumps, and turns to face me. When her eyes find mine, her expression dulls and she turns back towards the bowling lanes.

" hi" was all she said.

I clench my hands into fists. but decide to try again. " Kendall.. is it?" I try to keep it cool, and hope that she is interested.

Kendall looks at me and frowns, " umm. ya?"  she throws her hands on her hips and sighs. she then faces me, and cocks her head to the side like a curious dog. " can I help you?" she asks.

Crap..

" ya.. um, I ah.. was wondering if sometime you wanted to do this again, but with just us two." I take a step forward hoping she would say yes, if not this was going to be very embarrassing.

Instantly, Kendall takes two steps back. She coughs. " um, have you ever heard of personal space?" she folds her arms, and glares at me angrily.

I'm so  taken aback by her sudden dominant attitude, that I too take a couple steps back. she realizes she had basically won, and a smirk appears on her face.

" You think you can waltz up to anyone you want and get her to bed, don't you?" she is suddenly so close that I can feel her warmth. my mind stops thinking at her being so near.

" well I have news. you can't do what you have done to so any other girls, I won't let you." she jabs her finger onto my chest making it throb. " so, the answer to your question. would be no."

she sighs, and takes a step back, then grabs the food that the cashier is holding and leaves. I don't know how long the dude has been standing there, but obviously he had saw and heard what she had just said.

He is trying his hardest not to laugh. " ouch, dude that sucks"

" shut up" I growl, before stalking off towards the bowling lane.

I sit down still too stunned to notice things going on around me.

okay, so obviously, Kendall didn't like the usual flirting. But I wasn't going to give in that easy, I just had to come on more sweet. I had to earn her trust, and I was going to do that by hanging out with her and her friends at a party on Saturday.

I look at Kendall, who is sitting next to Ryan sharing nachos. All anger had disappeared from her face, and she was smiling again. it was almost as if she was a different person a minute ago.

she was a different person a minute ago, she was someone who was warning you to stay away..

I had a lot of work to do if I was going to be able to get her to like me back.
