"Three of us? Sensei, is that allowed?" Sakura looked up at Kakashi.
He looked down at her. "Well, this year, yes. You see, there's a team this year that consists of four members instead of three, so this was bound to happen. It is, however, new this year." Kakashi looked over at Ookami.
The petite ninja was looking over her shoulder at her team mates across the way. Gaara shook his head at her, and she nodded in response. 'Got it, don't go crazy and don't kill anyone.' She then let herself fall backwards, making Naruto flip out. But she gracefully flipped and landed on her feet with a bend of her knees.
"Phew." Naruto sighed in relief as he leaned over the railing.
"Alright! This will be fun and a piece of cake!" Ino laughed, making her way down to the battle floor.
"Are you crazy? She's a sand nin, and if you don't remember, she mentioned eating Choji! Don't go in acting dumb, Ino!" Shikamaru scolded Ino.
Choji nodded his head, eating chips. "Yeah, nom nom, she's scary! nom nom."
"Oh please." Ino brushed them off and went on her way full of confidence.
"Ah man, she's so dead. Troublesome woman." The pineapple head groaned.
Before Sakura could walk away Kakashi stopped her. "Sakura," she stopped and faced him. "You need to be careful. If you feel you can't go on do not hesitate to forfeit." Sakura was taken back. But she smiled at Kakashi.
"Don't worry sensei, I won't let Ino even touch me."
"It's not Ino I'm worried about..." He looked down at Ookami, who was making her way to the her spot.
"Don't hurt them too bad, Ookami!" Kankuro yelled down to the blonde smirking.
Sakura gulped and made her way down.
The girl formed a triangle, but Ino and Sakura seemed to be more focused on each other. Both glaring daggers at each other. Ookami arched an eyebrow at this, but shrugged. 'This might be even easier than I thought..too easy.' She let out a little sigh of disappointment.
"You can do it Sakura!" Naruto cheered on his comrade.
The proctor then yelled, "Begin!"
Sakura and Ino ran at each other instantly.
Ookami sweat dropped. 'Did they forget I'm here?' The sand nin just stood there watching the two rival go at each other. They were pretty much on the same level of skill but then Ino got the upper hand and threw her fist to punch Sakura in the face. But instead, she just slapped her.
'Are you fucking kidding me?' Ookami was annoyed. 'It's one thing to forget I'm here because you are fighting a long time rival, but to be holding back because you do actually care about that person?' She made her hands into fists and growled. 'I'll show them what a real fight looks like.'
