She slammed into three guards affected by the fear toxin without thinking twice. I was pretty impressed she didn't shoot them. But then again she knew these guys. Worked with them. She didn't want to shoot them. So this was Milou when her world is flipped upside down and her friends are trying to kill her? She's clear headed, she knows what she needs to do and doesn't have any shame in it.

What's scary is when she takes off her gas mask and takes a deep breath and says:

"I can't breath in that damn thing." She said taking a few breaths.

I had to remind myself she was immune to the gas. Especially as her eyes brightened. She took another deep breath and groaned.

"Wow they really fucked this shit up."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing it just takes me a second to adjust. I have to saturate my system." She replied and I looked at her like she was crazy. She couldn't see it but she looked at me.

"Why aren't you freaking out?"

"You didn't take an antidote?" I covered.

"Immune, lucky me right?" she asked before looking down the hall.

We came to the hall where her partner should be at and watched a guard fly through a door unconscious.

"Olli olli L," Milou called and her partner Lucas stepped out. Gun in hand but mask on tight.

"Seriously M? No mask?"

"Does it make a difference?"

"It could be poison!"

"It's not." she assure and he huffed.

"Doesn't matter. We can't leave just yet. We have to wait for backup." Lucas said ushering Milou and I into the security room. Another man sitting inside alive and working on keeping doors secure, and one guard dead in a corner. Milou didn't seem surprised or affected by it.

"So they're after us?" Milou asked.

"Not us just you." Lucas corrected.

"How do you know that?" I asked and Lucas gestured the the security screens.

"As soon as you two left Crane's zone no one's gone in and not just because the doors are locked. No one's even tried to get in. They've backtracked back to us."

"Trying to use you as a bait again- I swear-"

"Keep it in check M. some are trying to get out too and back track around the side and onto the roof." Lucas said.

"They are after Crane. He's got a sky light-" I said and Milou started back towards the door.

"I'm not letting that shit get out-"

"Let me handle it. They could be baiting you again. They won't be expecting me." I said and Milou looked at me and nodded slowly.

"Don't be afraid to kill him." She breathed and I nodded.

"Try not to do anything stupid." I called before dashing from the room and calling out to Damian over out on our comms to give him and update.

"I'll cover the roof." Damian said.

"I'll be in Crane's cell to help." I called back.

I breathed a sigh of relief when doors unlocked for me. Lucas probably back in the security booth giving me access. Letting me into Cane's cell too. Crane was slowly waking up from being knocked out. As soon as I reached the room through the skylight above us blew out. A shower of glass coming down on us. A man starting to repel inside, I shot him a few times until his body hit the ground with a loud thud, pulling whoever was holding his tether into the room and falling onto the ground with the same sound. I closed the cell door so it locked again before shooting a grappling hook up through the sky light. I could hear Damian fighting up there.

When I finally joined he called out to me.

"Any idea who'd want Crane out?"

"Still working on that one. Probably Falcone. You know their history." I huff shooting the legs out from under one of the last men.

Falcone was one of Gotham's many crime lords. He liked working with Crane for who knows what reasons. I watched as Damian knocked out the last man.

"It would make sense. But how does he know about the two task force agents."

"He's only after the one who's immune, and it looks like that had a few agents go bad."

"Not even the task force is safe anymore huh?" Damian asked.

"I don't know what to say Robin. Most of them are good but I just don't know." I huffed and he nodded.

"Well Crane's still in his cell, what about the agent being hunted."

"She's fine." I huff.

"You get her name? We need to-"

"Let her be okay? She's good on her own. Doesn't need the bat on her." I say a bit too quick and Damian furrows his brows not understanding.

"Hood tell me what you know." he says and I shake my head slowly.

"Doesn't help. Lets just call it personal O.K. ?"

"She's got people after her."

"She an agent she's use to it." I throw out and Damian looks at me before slowly nodding.

"Does she know who's after her?"

"She might put it together later but if she does I'll know."

"You'll keep me updated if you do. I'll still be working on this-"

"Without Bats knowing? Or Blue bird? Good luck. Don't you have a team to be on?"

"This is what I do in my free time-"

"Right."
