He was not what I expected physically.
But then again I had not idea what to expect. So when his large, exceedingly attractive man, approached me I had to stop my heart from being twisted up. Or at least stop my face from showing that it was. But other than his physical self he was the guy I knew on the phone. A darker sense of humor when he wanted, making jokes about one another.
It was easy to talk to him. Especially when we settled into some bar stools in a small local bar. Drinks in hand, laughing at one another's stories.
"He's got a fucking flamethrower and all I'm trying to do is take a shower! I doubt Lucas is as bad as Roy." Jason laughs as he's going to take a drink.
"You have no idea how board we get at the station holly shit. Or the stuff he pulls me into business wise!! Once I walk into his apartment and he's practically strapped naked to a chair! I was ready for a fight but I take the gag out of his mouth and he's just telling me to leave-"
"What he have some kinky friend over?"
"More like agreed to spend a night with a dominatrix in exchange for better fighting equipment. The deal was he had to dom a dominatrix, and that didn't happen. But the girl felt so bad for him that she and him went to this guys house!!! And Luke had a good laugh as he watched his guy get his ass handed to him by this four foot seven girl who probably weight absolutely nothing." I laugh and he giggles a bit into his glass as he drinks again.
"Does this happen often?"
"You should see fight night- it's this friday." I smile and he hums.
"You working?" He asks and I nod.
"Medic yeah- I'm not sure about anything ring wise for now." I hum taking a drink.
"What those seven guys really got you good?" He smirks.
"More like it's hard to find someone to fight." I laugh a little.
"Who would you fight then?"
"Lucas- or one of the mobsters- but that might get me trouble." I admit and he laughs.
"You fight Lucas- he's a bit bigger than you. Who wins?" He asks, I only serve him a look and he laughs a little.
"Sorry it's just hard to believe your pint sized body can take down guys twice your size." He hums.
"If you come to fight night I'll make you believe it." I say and he smirks.
"I'm not sure, Lucas invited me to fight already if I was to come- I'm not sure if I want to kill your win streak." He smiles and I raise my brows at him.
"Oh really that confident?" I ask leaning on the bar and looking at him.
"Well considering you still don't know what I do for a living," he smirks as he takes a drink, looking at me. I hate how good he looks doing it. Honestly I want to fight him now if he does that again.
"Does it matter what you do for a living? I know you're good at fighting from what you've said. But then again those are just words." I shrug going back to my drink. Baiting him.
"Sorry I just don't' usually fight for audiences."
"Afraid to get beat?"
"Afraid to be recognized- especially with the business Lucas has." He admits.
"What's so familiar about you- it can't just be me. I'm sure I've seen you before or something." I say and he shifts and sighs.
"You might- you are a task force officer, or at least were. How's that single cell stuff going on anyway?" He asks.
