44•Azura

Before we knew it, we were all thrown around- landing in different places. I clenched my fists as I felt like my head was being hammered. We all look up in anticipation, curious to see what stood before us and determined to defeat it. 

"Rise, Azura!" Hex yelled, cackling even louder than before. "Awaken! And destroy them all!" 

The rocks flew towards us as a being emerged from under the ground. It looked like a human, yet the aura was far different and darker than any wizard. It was wild. She screamed- a sound that was extremely painful to the ears. It was like chalk screeching against the board. Unbearable. 

The supposed 'Azura' didn't speak. She- yes, it was a female- was an erratic beast, which even a blind man would deem as a powerful being. 

With her cracked skin and ebony hair flying all around in knotty mess, she looked like a caveman. Her attire was simple- a black robe with a hood attached to it that she didn't use at the moment. She was a monochromatic demon with her black outfit and hair, accompanied by her grayish skin tone and clear white irises and canines. She looked like a ravenous monster. 

She didn't even glance at Hex and immediately ran towards us, her arms flailing around as she screamed- almost sounding like she was being tortured. 

"Lucy!" Happy called out just before she was saved by the fire mage from the maniacal beast. 

Azura growled, her long nails clawing the air as Natsu and Bickslow tried to hold her back while Gray attacked. But she was too quick. Not even Laxus' lightning touched her.

Erza, agitated as ever, transformed into her Heaven's Wheel armour and sent knives her way. Natsu too was fired up after she tried to attack Lucy and threw flames at her.

But we couldn't continue like that for long. Black Mutiny's other members wouldn't stand still as we fought against her.

The candy haired girl didn't seem as injured as before which only meant that someone had healed her as well- just like Neil. Speaking of Neil, he and his sister weren't in sight. Nor was Ivanna. It was a battle between Black Mutiny and Fairy Tail.

Gray and Bickslow fought two girls who seemed to be identical twins. Hex's men didn't stand down like we expected them to but tried to battle Evergreen and Lucy. 

"Look what's happened because of you, Y/n!" Hex shouted, clearly content with the events occurring before her eyes.  

"You planned this from the very beginning? What the hell do you want, Hex?" I growled at her in annoyance. I was on the verge of erupting into a crazed woman. This was all too much. 

"I only wanted you to come back home, to us. All of us would have been so happy, Y/n. But you just had to ruin it all and so, now you shall suffer. But me being the generous person that I am, I won't make you die in agony alone. You can die alongside your comrades, Y/n," She grinned- she was sure to tear her cheeks one day with that creepy smile of hers. 

"You're a monster," Erza spoke up, placing a hand on my shoulder to remind me of their presence. I wasn't going to give up now, after all we've been through. Certainly not after my friends put their lives on the line for me. 

"And did you know that Fairy Tail's specialty was destroying monsters?" Natsu stepped forward wearing a cheeky smile that comforted me. Freed's hand slipped into mine and I gave it a small squeeze, hoping to reassure us both- which it did. 

"How cute," The wicked leader spat and with one snap of her fingers, Azura appeared right beside her.

It was obviously going to be one hell of a fight. But I was certain that we'd be victorious. The power radiated from each of us. Black Mutiny's members gave no sign of giving up and nor did we. The battle had just begun and we weren't about to back down.
