"Everyone, this is Lucy. She's going to join Fairy Tail."
The familiar commotion stops as everyone looks at me with curiosity. The curiosity you hold for someone you have no knowledge about.
It's silent as I stare at all of them with a sickening feeling of nostalgia.
The silence is broken, however, by someone who will always have a special place in my memories.
"Welcome to the guild, Lucy. I'm Mirajane."
A sad smile sets itself upon my face.
"Come with me. We'll get you a guild mark."
My feet follow her, and I can hear the sound return to the room, as everyone returns to their business.
"What color, and where do you want it?"
My answer is spoken without a second's thought.
"Pink, and on my right hand."
She stares at me oddly, her eyes boring into mine, brow creased in thought.
"Is something wrong, Mira?"
"Oh no, sorry. Just and odd request."
