I walked back into the room, sitting down as Tora reached for the water bottle in my hand. Handing it over to him, he drank the rest of the water as he set the bottle down on the desk.

"So there are a fair amount of approved fair activities, like ice cream and cotton candy areas. There are also games include like knocking down milk bottles, trying to pop a balloon with a water gun, cake fights, and romance has also been a huge request for couples," Maki summarized as we listened.

"Racy requests have been turned down under every and any condition and there will be no exceptions without Igarashi and Usui's consent," the accountant stated as we nodded.

"After the exams, the students will start to prepare for what activities they choose to create. Other than that, this entire event is in our hands and will be done by the student council so stay sharp. Don't slack on the exams and don't cut back on the fair either," Tora stood, dismissing himself and me as the others remained to discuss.

"How's the after school study session with you going?" I asked as we sat down and figured who we would need to contact in order for the fair to happen.

"Four are improving, two didn't show, and the rest didn't even care for the session," he concluded as he looked up at me with a sigh.

I knew what he meant by didn't care for the session because it was true. They often didn't care for the actual session, but for the one who was in charge of the session, their focus on Tora instead.

"Told you you should've put that new guy in charge of your group. You're going to have to hand it over to someone else anyways now that the fair is in full motion," I suggested.

"The results may go down."

"They may also go up."

We stared at each other, our gaze not breaking.

"I'm not going to look away or blink so you should instead," I told him as he broke out into a laugh.

"Okay, okay. You win," he chuckled, looking out the window.

"Don't be so melodramatic gosh, it doesn't suit you," I rolled my eyes, pulling his wrist forward as I got up and pulled him up with me.

"I'm not melodramatic, and where are we going?"

"The weather's nice and I want to go out, I doubt you would let me go by myself so I'm dragging you along with me," I grinned at him as he chuckled slightly, following behind me as we left the room.

"It's not my fault that you bring eyes to you wherever you go," he stated.

"People were given eyes to stare, just like mouths to talk. So let them," I shrugged, not caring about the others.

"I like that, should I quote you on it too?" He questioned with a grin as I elbowed him.

"Ha. Ha. You're so funny Tora," I spoke in a monotone voice.

"You sure did think so when we were younger, but growing up we've gotten more distant from each other," he spoke softly, his voice light as we exited school and I stopped, turning around to look at him.

"And whose fault is that?" I asked, the breeze blowing throughout my hair.

"Both of ours," he responded and we both knew he was right.

A few years back, I had a spiraling downfall where I was in a low of my life. Tora was there for it the entire time, but I pushed him away and shut him out to close myself off. It was nothing but pure family issues, not that I had one.

And that was exactly what the issue was.

Me not having a family.

I mean, I know that I do have one, or did at one point in time, but I just will never know them.

Who they are.

What they're like.

I don't know.

I never did and I never will.

"And you're the one calling me melodramatic," Tora nudged my side as I looked up at him.

"You may have grown up terribly," I started off as he grinned at me.

"Terribly well," he chuckled.

"But I'll still stay with you."

The humor in his face died down as he stared at me. In a moment, he brought me into a soft embrace, holding me in his arms.

"No matter what, I'll stand by your side just like I promised," I told him as he held me tighter.

"Stop, don't say stuff like that. It's like you're about to die, I already know you'll be with me," he spoke hurriedly in one breath.

"Cocky much?"

"You already know," he chuckled.

"I just thought it should be said," I wrapped my arms around his lower back as my head rested over his shoulder.

"And it has been heard, and it'll be remembered," he responded as I pulled away.

"Then let's go, you're paying for lunch too since I paid all last week," I dragged him forward to a tree where we could sit in the shade.

"Alright, but we'll probably have to have lunch in the student council room from now on because of fair planning," he said as I nodded in agreement.

"If we even have time for lunch."

"We will, if you don't, I won't either," he crossed his arms as he knew that I always made sure he had the time to eat even with work.

"Fine, fine. Whatever," I grumbled, sitting down as he sat beside me with a sigh.

"We should spend more quality time together like this just like we used to, you and me," he spoke as he stared up at the sky, the wind breezing through our hair.

"Shut up, you sound like we're lovers," I scrunched my nose at him.

"Because I know one day we will be."

"Are you drunk?"

Remember to be kind guys, I may not say it as often as I'd like to, but I want to make sure that we all are aware of loving ourselves and each other :)
