Tora's POV

"What are you doing here."

I was ready to snap the dog's head off as he stood there, his complexion paler than before.

"We have to go back and get her," Leo tugged on my arm and I raised a brow at him.

"What do you mean? If she got caught, they probably are just talking to her and telling her not to to fool around again," I brushed it off as he turned around abruptly.

"Either you come with me for her or you don't. Tora, I won't hesitate to go on without you for her."

His words were cold and sharp, his eyes narrowed and I was taken back by his sudden change.

"Then let's go," I rolled my eyes, stepping forward with him.

"I'm sorry you'll have to find out this way," Leo spoke softly, his eyes now kind and I was ready to smack him.

"I don't know why you're having such mood changes like my pregnant neighbor didn't have as many mood swings as you do now," I looked at him as he stared at me blankly.

"I don't know how she loves you," he grumbled, rolling his eyes as we walked up to the hall.

"So what do we do?" I asked as he bit his lip.

"Save her."

"It's been three hours and we've searched the entire place," he sighed, tugging at his hair.

"Leo, look. I'm sure she's fine," I gulped, lying to him as I had gotten worried over his tense form.

"And I'm sure she's not," he snarled back, done with my positive attitude over the situation.

"Maybe there's a secret passageway somewhere?" I tried, his head snapping over to stare at me.

"The main room we were in," he jumped up, pulling me along with him as we ran through the hallways to go back up where we had been before.

"It's cleared out, they went out on a break by the garden," I informed him and he gave a nod, opening the door as the room was empty.

"There's the other door," he gestured over and I opened it, pushing forward into the office, pausing.

"W-wait," my eyebrows furrowed, taking in the office as I heard Leo's footsteps alter.

"Look, we have to keep moving," he took a deep breath, not meeting my eyes.

"This is my father's office."

Leo shut his eyes, his head slightly lowered after my claim, his hand resting over the doorknob that he had found.

He spoke no words, simply letting my words sink in further.

My eyes widened as my thoughts started to race.

There's no wa-

"This is the last shot to finding her," he spoke, turning the knob and I took a deep breath.

"Alright," I raised my head, stepping closer to him as we opened the door.

"There's so many stairs," he noted, shutting the door after us and I gave a nod.

"Up or down?" He turned to me and I shrugged.

"The one where we an find her," I said.

"We don't have time to be morons right now," he groaned. "I say down."

"I say up," I countered.

"Then let's s-"

"Don't even try to abandon me and say let's spilt up because I will smack you all the way down the stairs," I threatened.

"Fine, then where?" He leaned against the wall.

"Up, because she's my love and I'm the one who'd know where to find her," I countered.

"Oh, so you couldn't use that love instinct of yours three hours ago?" He shot back and I stared at him.

"Also so that if she's up, I can brag about to you in your face," I sneered and he rolled his eyes.

"Let's hope she's alive then."

"You're the worst," I looked at him.

"It's what I'm here for," he smiled at me as we made our way up the stairs.

"Why is there another door?" I asked as we had came to a section of the floor with another door.

"How'd you find the door, I can't see anything," he grumbled, moving his hands around as he smacked me.

Pushing his arms down, I moved him to next to me.

"Watch it," I snapped.

"Well gee golly, I sure am trying to," he replied.

"Should we go in?" I questioned as he rested his ear over the door.

"I can't hear anything," he concluded and I rolled my eyes.

"Soundproof then, can you pick up any vibrations?"

"No, I'm not a trained spy agent," he snapped at me and I stared at him.

"I meant in general, you dum-"

"And I stepped in wee," he cut me off, moving his foot back and I groaned.

"I doubt someone took a wee here," I pushed him slightly as he stumbled around.

"Well I can barely see anything, there's no light and I stepped in something wet so that's my conclusion," he explained, turning to me. "Why didn't we bring a flashlight?"

"Because we didn't know it'd be dark and none of our unprepared selves brought one," I hissed at him, ready to toss him down the stairs we came from.

"Well someone sure is being me-"

"Wait, that's blood," I jerked him to the side slightly, seeing the red liquid that had splattered over his shoes, staining the floor.

"I can't smell it though," he sniffed, seeing no scent as he gave a shrug.

"Then it was sprayed over with a chemical to prevent the scent from moving through the area," I explained and his eyes went wide.

"I say we bust the door down in three seconds," he said, not taking in my comments. "One."

"Wait, I'm sure they might be having a meeting or something," I tried denying the idea of anything haven happened to her as my mind was a fuzz.

"You'll see for yourself what meeting they're having," he spat at me, his cruel demeanor now clear. "Two."

"We have to think things through, I'm not sure if fath-"

"Look, as great and all as you are, right now I feel like smacking you and I will proceed with or without you despite knowing how rough this is going to get on you," he gave a quick smile, his eyes hardening over as he turned to the door. "Three."

Without letting me speak or stop him, he had slammed his shoulder into the door, his elbow jerking up behind him to shatter the lock as the door flung open, slamming into the wall.

The room was bright, a light having been hung up inside and the blood was clear all over the ground, immediately staining our shoes as we stepped in.

Yet what had my head spin wasn't the sight of the room, but who was inside, tied to a share in the center.

"That ca-can't," my voice broke and I couldn't breathe, the unconscious form seated before us.

"There's your love."

Don't worry guys i won't die but you might lol
