Bexs POV
"Mum come look at this, Luke lanas now 7 year old brother, calls to his mother who was preparing dinner in the kitchen. "Yes darling" I reply approaching him who appeared to be sniggering at something out of the window. As I peered outside into my front yard, I  spotted my daughter locking lips with a tall,dark haired boy her arms wrapped around his neck. My  mouth instantly dropped open as I saw the sight of them both. After a couple of seconds Lana said goodbye and started making her way to the front door. Luke quickly ran to the doorway to greet her as she steps foot into the house. "Lanas got a boyfriend, Lanas got a boyfriend" he teased as she gives  him a look. "Shut up moron" she says pushing him out of the way. "Oohh Liam ohh Liam" he carried on making kissing noises just as Marcus approached to see what was going on. "Who's Liam?" he asks glancing at our daughter who now has an embarrassed look on her face. "No one dad" she says trying to dismiss the conversation." He's Lanas boyfriend" Luke says sniggering. "Boyfriend" she says with a surprised voice looking over to me. "Ugh,just all of you leave me alone" she shouts stomping up the stairs, slamming her bedroom door behind her. "Luke, go watch tv or play video games or whatever you do" I say to him pointing into the other room. "Okay.." he says not understanding why he is being dismissed. "She has a boyfriend, she's way to young to have a boyfriend" Marc states walking over to me. "Honey she's 16" I say chuckling. "Well who is he, do we know him, who his parents are?" He questions. "Well I didn't recognise him. Maybe i should go talk to her" I suggest. "Yeh okay, I'm not good at this sorta thing" my husband expresses."just don't question her about anything if I do manage to convince her to come down" I tell him sternly. "Okay I'll let you handle this".
"Good" I say walking up the stairs into my daughters room.

"Hey darling" I say opening the door to find her sitting on the bed staring at the screen of her phone. Lana rolls her eyes and puts it down as she sees me
entering. "Yes mum?" she says as I sit beside her. "Are you okay?" I ask. "Yes mum I'm fine" she answers rolling her eyes again. "Hey don't be like that, I just wanted to know if you were okay" I explain. Lana then changes her expression and looks at the floor, "I'm sorry mum I just didn't want you all to find out like this" she expresses. "Well who is he?" I ask her as i fix her hair that had now fallen into her face. "His name is Liam, and he's in my grade at school okay" begins to explain. "Okay and you and him are together?" I ask her trying to approach the situation with care. "Maybe" she says looking at the wall not being able to bring her eyes to mine. "Hey look I think this is great, you don't have to be shy about it. Your father however might take a little bit of convincing, you know how it is, your his little girl and you finally growing up" I say hugging her with tears in my  eyes. "Muuuum" she moans cringing. "I'm sorry I'm sorry, I can't help it" I say standing up and taking her hand. "Are you coming down for dinner?" I question pulling her up to sand with me. "Yeh okay" she replies picking her phone up and following me.

Strolling down the stairs,Lana unlocks her phone and starts to type a text.

Lana: okay so my family now know about Liam😬
Sophia: Omg how did you tell them?
Lana:Well I didn't exactly my idiot little brother saw me and him and shouted it as loud as he could🙄
Lana: have you told your mom about Oli yet?
Sophia: no not yet😬 but I will I just don't know when, how did they take it?
Lana: well moms fine, but dad not so much
Sophia: I'm sure he'll come around, hey why don't you come over tonight, if I tell my mom and she knows you have a boyfriend maybe she'll be fine about it too.
Lana:"Yeh okay I'll ask my mom to text yours"
Sophia: okay talk to you later
Lana: bye👋🏻

By the time she had finished the conversation Lana was not at the dinner table ready to start her meal. "Hey mum, can you call or text auntie Lana and ask her if I could stay me and Sophia have something we wanna tell her" she asks picking up her fork. "Of course darling what do you have to tell her?" I ask grabbing my phone from my back pocket. "Errrm I can't really tell you that until Lana knows" she replies. "Okay.." I say confused dialling the number. "Hey bexles" Lana greets cheerfully."hey lan, Lana wants to know if she could stay at your place tonight the girls want to tell you something" i tell her. "Errm okay.." she replies confused. "Great I'll drive over to yours after we've had dinner". "Okay see you then bye " she says. "Bye" I reply back putting the phone down. After finishing her meal Lana hurried up stairs to pack a bag while I grab my car keys. After a couple of minutes my daughter jogged down the stairs,"ready mum?" She questions. "Yep lets go" I state opening the door and getting into the car. As we approached he brunettes house I break the silence by asking her a question, "so how old is this Liam?". "17" she answers. "Where'd you meet?" I carry on asking questions. "Music class" she answers again. "He's in a band" she tells me. "Ooh cute musician then" I say smiling. "Muum" she moans lightly hitting my arm. "What I just want to know" I say still giggling a little. "How long have you been dating?" I ask pulling into Lanas drive. "I think that's enough questions for now mum" she says opening the door and walking to the door. Before she even got the chance to knock a scared looking Sophia opens the door and pulls Lana into the hallway. "What's wrong?" She asks concerned. "Come with me" she tells her pulling her into the next room. "What's that about?" My best friend approaches me hugging me tight. "I have no idea" I express. "So..do you know what they have to tell me?". "Nope Lana wouldn't  tell me either but I do have some news about her" I explain. "What,what is it" she says excitedly. "Lana has a boyfriend" i whisper. "Oh my god really" she replies. "Yes his name is Liam" I explain. "Ooh what else do you know about him?" She questions. "Not much really but don't tell Lana I told you okay?" "Okay" she replies
