Once the plane landed we went to the parking garages to get our cars. I climbed into mine expecting Zack to get in but he called himself a cab. I wasn't even bothered. I put Bailey in the front seat and went to my apartment. I left my bags in the car and me and Bailey headed upstairs. I unlocked the door to my apartment and let Bailey out. Sleepily he trotted to my bedroom. I shut the door and made sure it was locked. I showered and laid next to a sleeping Bailey. Hopefully tomorrow would be better. ----------------------------------------------------------- I woke up to sunlight burning my eyes. I lifted up from my spot and looked around. It was really bright in here. I looked at my phone to see I had an e-mail from school. I checked it to see that the cheer squad was letting everyone know about prom. Which was a couple weeks away. Who knew this year would go by so fast. I still wasn't sure if I would go. I stretched my body and looked at the time. 12:34pm. I got up and showered. I slid on some sweatpants and a white tank top. I fed Bailey and ordered a pizza. Before I knew it the fire alarm was going off. I jumped off the couch and scooped a sleeping Bailey up and stuffed my feet in my white converse. I sprinted down the steps like a marathon runner. I got to the lobby where everyone was scrambling outside. I got outside facing the building to see where the fire was coming from.
"There isn't even any smoke". A voice came from behind me.
I turned to see a really cute guy. I guess he caught me drooling and decided to start a conversation.

"So you live here?". He smiled down at me.
"Yea 3C". I blushed at his beautiful smile.
"Hey I'm 5C. Guess this means we're neighbors". He kept smiling.
"Guess so. Why is the fire alarm sounding if there is no fire?". I groaned at the non-smoking building.
"I don't know. Hopefully the pizza guy doesn't come while I'm out here, or I'll miss my pizza". He chuckled.
"You ordered a pizza? So did I". I threw my hand in the air.
After a few minutes of silence a firefighter came out of the building and gave us an all clear.
"I wonder what that was about. By the way my name's Canon". He walked beside me as we went back inside.
"Iris". I smiled like a groupie.
We got into the elevator together along with our other neighbors.
"So whose this?". He asked petting Bailey's ear who licked his hand in return.
"Oh this is Bailey, he's my dog. I got him for my eighteenth birthday". I smiled down at Bailey who was squirming excitedly about all the strangers.
