Chapter 4-

An hour passed since Mike got into the shower and he still hadn’t got out yet. Boy, he took longer than me. We were all waiting patiently for him to be done. I still can’t believe all he’s been through. Probably something similar that we’ll go through when we run out of supplies in here.

“Is he planning on becoming a mermaid?’’ Caden asked impatiently. Correction that makes the two of us, bugger and I waiting patiently for Mike.

“Dude, what’s up your ass since that Mike guy got here?” Bugger asked him. I sighed. Here we go again. Can’t I get a break?.

“Nothing, he’s just annoying” Caden said.

“Mhmm sure”. They kept on going at it but I just decided to not listen to them and I focused on checking the basement out, it actually looked good, in fact it looked nicer than my own room as silly as that sounds. I haven’t been here in months, but I would have definitely moved down here.Out of nowhere I just hear my name being called out.

“Eli!?” They both yelled.

“What!?” I snapped.

“Right that is true!?” My brother said.

“What’s true?” I asked, completely clueless about what they were talking about.

“Forget it, she wasn’t listening” Caden said. Was that…disappointment I saw on his face? The heck?.

“Whatever dude, but I know I’m right, don’t matter what my sister says, I win and you’re a loser” My brother said with victory in his voice.

“Actually I didn’t say anything Bugger” I said with a smile on my face knowing I ruined any victory he thought he had.

He frowned and just looked down at the floor, as if it had something interesting. I heard him curse but he didn’t look up. Probably thought I wasn’t listening.

“What was that?” I said, satisfied I won. I heard Caden holding in his laughter.

“Nothing” He said defeated.  We both looked at Caden when we heard he was laughing his ass off. He obviously couldn’t contain his laughter in any longer. I started laughing too, his laugh is so contagious. My brother’s face was priceless, if someone else would see us would probably think we were drunk from our laugh attack.

“Dude, you should see your face, is priceless!” Caden said in between laughs.

“I was thinking the same thing!” I manage to say in between laughs.

“What are you guys doing?” Mike said out of nowhere. I guess we were so focused on laughing that we didn’t hear him coming out of the bathroom. We all looked at him and that’s when I noticed what he was wearing. He had a nice white shirt on and some blue jeans, my dad’s clothes fitted him very well. He looked really sexy, specially that his shirt was unbuttoned. I noticed he had a tattoo, but I couldn’t tell what it said. I looked away before he noticed and started teasing me about it, again.

“Finally you got out” Caden said, recovering himself.

“Sorry?”. “I had to wash myself pretty good, I had other people’s blood on me and I was dirty, if you didn’t notice Caden” Mike said.

“Sorry, I don’t check out guys” Caden laughed.

“Hahaha good one” Bugger said. Both Caden and Mike looked at my brother, as if telling him to shut up. I just laughed, which caused all eyes to fall on me.
