People Are Losing It

Chapter 18-

**Caden's POV**

“Don’t even think about it” I told him, knowing perfectly what he was thinking of doing.

But he didn’t move, he was just there sitting like a friggin rock.

I went up to him, and grabbed him by under his arms, and dragged him far enough so I would be able to catch him in case he got up and started running to kill himself.

“Leave me alone!” He said, sounding as if he was drunk.

“No!, snap the fuck out of it, before I punch some sense into you” I told him, everybody knew I only used the “F” word when I was truly mad, or growing extremely irritated.

He looked up at me frowning, he got up and was in my face. I didn’t back off , I knew he was just acting like this because he was going through depression or something.

“Now you listen to me!” He said, still sounding like a drunk. “Stop being all up in my mix!” He said.

I was through being all up in his ‘mix’. So I punched him right in the face, and I guess I didn’t control my hit, because he knocked out and hit the floor with a loud thud.

“Holy shit!” I heard Josh say.

I sighed and said, “Hey Josh”.

I looked over at him and he was covering his mouth with his hand. “Holy shit!” He repeated getting closer to Mike’s knocked out body.

“You knocked him the fuck down! Dude!” He said surprised. I just raised my eyebrow and gave him an amused look. I mean this guy didn’t act like the 28 year old he was.

“I’m gonna have to start watching my back with you” He said, looking over at Mike one more time before continuing. “I don’t want to get knocked the fuck out too” He finished.

I laughed at his comment. “Dude, chill, I only did it because he was on the line of throwing himself from here” I said. Regretting it at the same time. I wasn’t supposed to be gossiping Mike’s situation.

Now Josh’s face grew serious. “What?” He asked. “Why the hell would he want to kill himself?” He added.

“Look don’t say anything but you know how he and Elli are a couple, or at least were before she lost her memory” I said. He nodded for me to continue.

“She fell from the bed like half hour ago and gained some of her memory, she remembers who me and her brother are, and she’s asking for her parents, so she obviously doesn’t know anything about our current situation” I finished.

“Oh shit” He said. “But wait, what does this has to do with Mike wanting to kill himself?” He asked confused.

“Shut up, I’m not done yet” I said. “He tried helping Elli up from the floor but she didn’t know who he was so she thought the worse and told him to get the hell away from her” I added. “But I guess he felt terrible about how she doesn’t know who he is ,twice, and I guess it affected him a lot to the point where he wants to kill himself” I finished.

“Damn” Was all he said, looking at Mike once again.

“But don’t say anything, especially to him. He’ll be mad when he hears about me telling almost everybody what happened, when he’s got his pride to protect” I said, smirking at the last part.

Josh nodded, “It’s not my business to tell anyway” He said. I knew I could count on this guy. 

“Would you help me carry him to the bed?” I asked Josh.
