It's been a few months that Tyler had been in a forced relationship with a girl named Jenna. He told his parents before that, he was gay but, they didn't believe it. More like they didn't want to believe it. Tyler wasn't attracted to Jenna at all but he was attracted to his pink haired best friend, Joshua Dun.

"Tyler! You're going to be late for your date with Jenna!" Tyler's mother shouted.
Tyler was getting dressed in the usual white button down shirt and black skinny jeans.

"I'm ready okay?!" Tyler shouted back as he walked down the stairs to see his mom waiting to see how he looked. Of course she wasn't surprised and passed the outfit as "acceptable".

"Mom, I told you a long time ago that I'm not into Jenna. I don't like girls at all." Tyler started to say as he was about to leave.

"Yes Tyler, we've been over it. But I think Jenna's a nice girl for you. You just need to get used to it, and stop thinking about this 'not liking girls' nonsense."

Tyler didn't say anything else as he went out and got into his car,and drove to Jenna's. "Hey Tyler." The blond haired girl said as she walked outside to meet with the boy.

"Hey Jenna...ready?"

"Of course!"

Tyler's mom picked out a spot for them and made a reservation. Tyler begged his mom not to but of course, that didn't stop her. The spot was a very fancy looking restaurant. That's probably why Jenna looked over dressed compared to Tyler.

"This place is so nice, don't you think?" Jenna asked Tyler. To which he only responded with a nod. Jenna was in the middle of story of her childhood when Tyler's phone started to vibrate.

Tyler looked down at the screen and saw a couple of messages from Josh, his best friend and long time crush.

Hey man where are ya?

Sup Josh. I'm on that date with Jenna I told you about... Not enjoying it much :/

Ah, well we should hang later.

Of course, that'd be sick. See ya

"Tyler? Tyler are you listening to me?" Jenna asked. Tyler looked up from his phone and nodded, forcing a smile. "Yeah of course I am."

The whole evening was almost all about Jenna's childhood and about her future. Tyler acted as if we're listening but he was really checking his Twitter the whole time.
The drive home was pretty quiet. Tyler stopped at Jenna's home and again forced up a smile. Jenna leaned in and kissed his cheek as she got out of his car.

"Bye Tyler. Thanks again for tonight."

"Of course. See ya."

Tyler felt awkward the rest of the drive. He remembered about hanging out with Josh and that made him change his mood. Once he was home and inside his room, he texted Josh.

Josh I'm home. What did you wanna do?

Just come over, we can work on our progress with Holding On To You.

Sounds good. On my way.

Tyler jumped off his bed and went back downstairs. He told his parents he'd be home later and got into his car. He was practically speeding while he drove to Josh's.

Tyler got out of the car and went to the front door of his friends house. He knocked on the door and waited for an answer. He was greeted by a pretty sweaty Josh Dun.

"Hey Tyler, cmon in man." Josh said after opening the door.
"Hey Josh, why are you all sweaty?" Tyler asked stepping into the Dun household.

"Drumming. Takes a lot of work ya know." The drummer boy answered.
"Of course, anyway, you wanted to work on HOTY?" Tyler asked, going into Josh's room where they always hung out.

"Yeah I did. I came up with a pretty sick drum line to match your parts."

"Sweet! Show me."

The whole time Josh was on his drums, Tyler watched every bit of him.
Josh was really attractive to Tyler.
Tyler couldn't help but blush as Josh finished, looking up at Tyler biting his lip.
"What'd you think?"

"It's perfect."

/Hah so that was a.. a start to something. Yeah idk how this thing will go. It's my first fic so yeah it's pretty trash./
