Josh had left Tyler's apartment a few minutes after he stopped by. He didn't stay very long fearing the awkwardness.

Besides, Tyler moved on.
Or so he said he did.

Josh wasn't in a good mood nor a bad one. He didn't know how to feel at that point. He thought of all the happiness that filled him when he was with Tyler.

Tyler's happiness was gone. Out the door. Literally. He also started thinking of the good times, the good days. Even those special nights.

Tyler sighed as he went back to his room and started to write again. He finished the last line from his solo song that he was gonna put in an album, called Taken By Sleep.
Coincidentally, he fell asleep right at the last word.

Josh, well Josh was being Josh. He was drumming every day at his new apartment. The neighbor complained but the apartment office said they didn't have a "no music" policy. So Josh got to drum away.

He occasionally wrote down some of the stuff he played to text Tyler about.

When Tyler woke up, he checked his phone and sighed at the many text messages from Jenna.
"Right...that nights coming up."

Tyler was going to have to make Jenna his forever, in a few days.

Josh and Tyler would never be together again. Tyler again thought of the times he was with Joshua.

He wondered if Josh thought of him too. Josh did, of course. He always did but he didn't mention him.

He'd sometimes even dreamt about him. Josh's hair had gone red this time and he'd gotten some new tattoos as well. He'd gotten more into the whole alien theme and got a custom set with aliens and skulls all over each drum.

A few days passed and Tyler started to feel better. Somewhat. He dressed nicer and kept his apartment clean.
Josh was just the same.
The red headed man was on his usual drumset when Tyler texted him.

T:Hey, wanna grab a bite and talk about this new album and tour?
...
J:Sure. Sounds cool. Taco Bell?
...
T:You know it.
