The Much Needed Road Trip

Tyler woke up and didn't realize the pink haired boy holding onto him. Once he did notice him, he didn't move. He didn't say anything. He didn't want to ruin this moment.

Soon enough Josh woke up as well. Tyler had closed his eyes and cuddled up against Josh. Josh smiled and let go of Tyler, thinking he was still asleep.

"Josh... Don't let go..."

"Oh! Geez Ty, you scared me. Don't worry I won't. I won't let go." Joshua assured the brunette by holding him again.

After a good few minutes of cuddling the two got off of Tyler's bed.
"I thought you.. I thought you wouldn't like this cause it's with another guy."

"Now... I ... Tyler I... Man I don't know. I'm...I'm just sorry for upsetting you."

"It's okay Josh. I'm over it. You kinda made up for it already."

The boys walked down stairs.
Josh had to start heading home and Tyler had to get ready for another date with Jenna.

Tyler was bummed about having to go out with Jenna. Josh was bummed about having to go home to another one of his drunk father's episodes.

"Tyler, are you getting ready?" Tyler's mother asked.

"Yes.. I'm gonna get ready soon."

"Well hurry. Jenna's ready and waiting to be picked up." His mom practically shouted up to him.

Tyler walked down in almost the same clothes as last time.
Another white button up, black jeans but this time he wore white Vans instead of black ones.

After talking with his parents about Jenna, Tyler walked out and drove off to pick up his date.

Their date was the same as their previous ones. All about Jenna. "oh did I ever tell you the story where I..." "Oh and I did this one thing over the weekend..."  Jenna Jenna Jenna.

The couple's date was rather quick, fortunately.
Tyler knew that he was going to have to propose to her soon, and he knew he couldn't back out of it.

After saying goodnight and driving home, Tyler could only think of how good and safe he felt in Josh's arms.

His rather buff arms were soft, and Tyler felt like he could be held by Josh forever.

Instead of texting or calling him, Tyler decided to just go and get some sleep.
He avoided his parents as he ran upstairs and locked his door as he got into his room.

The brunette pulled off his shoes and took off his shirt tossing them on the floor.
He laid down and pulled the blankets over himself imagining that Josh was right there with him.

Later on that night.

Tyler was having a nightmare.
Josh was involved and Jenna and his parents.

He couldn't seem to break out of his sleep either, making this a lot worse.

"Tyler, I don't like you and I never will." Nightmare Josh would repeat over and over.

"Tyler, we never loved you. You are a disappointment to us." Tyler's nightmare parents repeated.

Jenna being there was enough to scare Tyler. She didn't need to say anything at all.

When he finally woke up, Tyler was sweating and on the floor. "What the hell was that..?" Tyler thought out loud.

Tyler reached for his phone and texted Josh.

Josh. I need to talk to you.

...

Yeah what's up man?

...

I.. I just need to talk to you.

...

Meet me in a few minutes in the forest near the park.

...

Okay see you then.

Tyler grabbed his headphones and put his shoes and shirt back in running out of the house and into the wooded area.

He looked around to see if he could find his pink haired crush, but he didn't see anyone.

Tyler waited for almost an hour before clenching his fists, closing his eyes, and screaming,

"Is there anybody out there?!"
