"Wakey wakey" I heard Beas voice as she poked my side. "Ellis come on, you promised you'd help me plant some flowers out front" she whined.

"Just 10 more minutes" I groaned pulling the bed sheet over my head. Engulfing myself back into the warm bubble of blankets.

"You said that ten minutes ago" this time she pulled the sheets completely off me and the rush of wind caused me to bunch up my body and shiver.

"I'm up" I glared at her, today I had to help Bea with this, go to strength training, and then tutor Micheal, it was a busy day.

"How was your get together?" Bea chuckled at her joke, grabbing a small hand shovel and poking it through the dirt in a large pot.

"It was fine" I shrugged, holding a single pocket of flowers in my hands, waiting for her to finish digging.

"That's it? Just fine?" She looked at me and raised her eyebrow, "not worth skipping clubbing with me and Cassie?" She smiled.

"Oh it was worth it" I laughed swiping away a small bee that surrounded the flowers. "Actually, it was a little awkward with Micheal" I admitted.

"How so?" She said, patting the soil on the top around the hole she just dug.

"Well Micheal didn't know I used to date Tom, and so when it came up he was really confused, something's were said about how Micheal doesn't stand a chance with me because I dated Tom" I took my free hand and held it to my forehead blocking the sun from my eyes.

Bea looked up at me, squinting, "I'm sorry"

"No, no, honestly it was fine, thankfully Natasha switched topics right away" I shrugged, handing her the flower.

"You know you're allowed to see other people... right Ellis?" Bea placed the flower in the hole and took the remains soil and filled it up. "It's been almost a year"

"I know, it's just too soon" even a year was too soon. taking my hands I hit them together leaning over the dirt, trying to get the soil from the flower off my finger tips.

"Do you think you'll ever see him again?" She stood up, taking her gardening gloves off.

"I don't know... I don't know if I can" sure I'd probably see him again, we were bound to cross paths at some point but every time I see him it makes it that much harder to leave him. "I should go I have training, need help cleaning up?" I turned around.

"No I'm good, thanks Ellis" she smiled, and returned to planting a few more.

"Ellis!" Claire ran up and gave me a hug, "god I've missed you" she smiled.

"I've missed you too!" I laughed adjusting my workout bag on my shoulder. "Claire I should probably tell you what really happened" I sat down and began stretching.

"What do you mean?" She twisted her pony tail around her finger and secured it into a bun at the top of her head.

"Tom and I are not seeing each other at the moment" I kept my eyes focused on lacing up my pointe shoes.

"What- Ellis- what happened?" She knelt down in front of me, looking very concerned but engaged.

"I took time off from dancing, not because of a surgery, but because I actually was pregnant" I finally looked up at her and her jaw dropped.

"And that's why Tom and you?" She couldn't even finish her sentence.

"No- well, not exactly. Tom and I were really happy at first, but around ten weeks I lost the baby, and long story short I kept it from Tom for a long time and he found out, and we haven't been on good terms since" I had to take a deep breath. "I'm sorry I had to lie to you- everything was just..." I didn't finished my sentence either.
