Maxie's POV

"Friends?" I said smiling.

"No. Best friends." He said while interwining his pinky with mine.

We smile at each other, grinning like a cheshire cat, then I hugged him really really tight.

"I missed you, cam." I said looking at him in the eye, his deep blue eyes that I'm inlove with.

"I missed you too, maxie." He smiled looking down at me and kissed my forehead.

We still have 45 minutes left so we decided to go to the restaurant beside our school, the restaurant where I ate breakfast this morning with Josh.

I messaged my friends telling them that I and Cam will eat outside, I don't want them to worry.

"Max! I have a riddle answer this okay!" Cam said laughing like a little kid.

"What brand of computer is also a singer?" He asked giggling at his riddle, omg this guy can get so childish sometimes.

It took me 2 minutes to think. Brand of computer that is also a singer? what's that? There are Lenovo, Apple, HP, Dell, Toshiba, Asus, and other brand I don't know. None of them seem to be a singer. Uhhh.

"C'mon Max, give up?" He asked laughinh at me.

"Nope." I said, I will never give up. I hate giving up. I shall not give up, nope, never. Not now not ever, I will neve--

"Okay I give up!" I said putting my hands in the air.

"You wanna know the answer?" He asked me, his eyes shining with happiness.

"Just tell it already!" I told him getting annoyed.

"Alright, alright!" He rolled his eyes," So the answer is....*makes drum roll sound* A dell!!!" He laughed at his joke, laughing like a pig to be honest, but gosh he still looks amazing!

I stand there looking at him, I'm slow today so I don't really understand. Adell? OH! A dell!! now I get it! Omg!!

"Omg!" I said while laughing, I can't stop laughing, I can feel tears going out of my eye.

"You're so slow y'know." He laughed at my late reaction.

Then there was silence. I was looking into his eyes and he was looking into mine. His eyes looked at mine with an emotion I can't explain, I can't figure out what he's thinking. We're just there looking into each others eyes, not caring about anything else.

After a few minutes of staring, I blinked!

"Hah! I win!" He said doing a victory dance. What? It's all a game?

I pushed him and walked ahead. I gave him a silent treatment all the way to the restaurant.

Just like this morning I heard a ding-a-ling sound as we walked in. The strong smell of sausages came to my nostril and my stomach growled with hunger.

"I guess someone's hungry!" Cam said laughing at my growling stomach.

"Hey! It's not my fault some random weird guy pulled me out of the cafe." I said rolling my eyes.

"Random weird guy, huh?" He laughed at what I called him, "And by the way, I didn't pull you out of the cafe, why do you keep exaggerating things."

"Bla, bla, bla. Let's order!" I said running to the nearest vacant table.

"Hello, I'm Mark and I'm you're waiter for today. What would you like to order?" A hot guy called Mark asked me and Cam.

Mark winked at me ignoring Cam's presence and I laugh at Cam's annoyed face.

"Excuse me." Cam said glaring at the hot waiter.

"Oops." The waiter raised his hands in the air.

"Haha, I'd like some roasted beef and large chocolate milkshake, please." I said smiling to the waiter, while Cam glared at me.

"Flirt!" Stupid conscience.
What's wrong with smiling? Is it wrong?

"How about you, Sir?" The waiter asked Cam.

"B2 size burger, and a vanilla milkshake." Cam said still glaring at the waiter.

"Is that all?" The waiter said sneaking glances at me.

"Yes." Cam said in an annoyed tone.

What's wrong with him?

"Okay, I'll come back with your orders." The waiter said winkig at me and laughing at Cam's annoyed face.

"Flirt!" Cam said when the waiter left.

"Hey! what's wrong with you? He was just being kind!" I said rolling my eyes at his childish attitude.

"Being kind my ass!" Cam said glaring at me, "Look at him! He's even staring at you right now!"

"So what? Unlike you, I'm not taken, so what's wrong with flirting?" I asked annoyed with his mood.

"Whatever. I think I'm gonna end things with Tina." Cam said changing his tone into a serious one.

YESS FINALLY! THE DAY I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!

"What?Why?" I said trying to hide my smile.

"I think.. I'm falling for another girl." Cam looked at me straight in the eye, with an emotion I can't explain.

"Really? Who?" I asked Cam hoping that he'll say my name, which is pretty much impossible.

"Um.. Max.. I think I like yo--"

"Here's your order!" The waiter interrupted! Fudge you waiter!

"Thanks." I thanked the waiter trying to hide my annoyed voice for interrupting my conversation with Cam.

I and Cam ate silently, well more like awkwardly.

"So about before?" I asked Cam trying to brig back the topic about his crush.

"Nah. Don't mind that. I was just kidding, I love Tina." Cam said his eyes glittering.

"You.. You love her?" I asked trying to stop my tears.

"Um. Yeah. I think I love her." Cam said.

"Oh. Okay." I said," Oh my, I forgot I have to catch up on something. Here's my payment. Sorry." I said trying to make up excuses.

"What? Oh. Okay." Cam said confused.

"Bye." I said rushing to the exit door.

Right after I stepped out tears came streaming down my face. I ran all the way to school.

I was running. Running as fast as I could, trying not to attract attention. I ran to the nearest bench below the tree. I cried my eyes out and I swear my crying was really loud.

"I think you need this." A familiar voice said.

I looked up and met a pair of green eyes looking at me with an emotion full of worry.

"Th..Thanks." I said throught my crying.

"Come here." Josh said pulling me into a comfortable hug. Just what I needed.

I cried until my tears are all out. I let everything out.

"Are you done?" Josh asked me.

"Ye..Yeah. Thanks though, for you know.. being here. Sorry I made your clothes wet." I said.

"It's fine. I'll be here whenever you need me." Josh smiled sincerely.
