Maxie's POV

"Come here." Josh said pulling me into a comfortable hug. Just what I needed.

I cried until my tears are all out. I let everything out.

"Are you done?" Josh asked me.

"Ye..Yeah. Thanks though, for you know.. being here. Sorry I made your clothes wet." I said.

"It's fine. I'll be here whenever you need me." Josh smiled sincerely, "You know what? Let me sing a song for you. Okay?"

"Hah? Sure." I said.

Just  after Josh started singing 'Can't help falling in love', I felt goose bumps. He has a really good voice, this guy sure is my type, I wonder why I haven't fall for him.

"Because of your undying feelings for Cam, Duhh."

"And that's the end of the song. Hahahaha. I'm sorry I'm not really a good singer, but it could've been better if I had my guitar with me." Josh said shyly, scratching the back of his neck.

"Nah, it's fine. I love it. It made my mood better. Thank you, for you know.. being here." I said blushing a bit.

"Hehe. No problemo! Hahahaha. Now let's go to class, yeah?" He said.

"Oh yeah. Let's go. We're in the same class right?" I asked him.

"Yupp!" He said making the 'p' sound louder. He put his arms around me for the first time and I stiffened in his action.

I ignored the butterflies that erupted on my stomach, and I swear my face looks like a strawberry right now. Just when we turned right going to the hallway, I caught a pair of blue monster eyed guy looking at me and Josh, with a.. with a.. broken expression? I ignored him and walked away with Josh.

I'm tired of fighting with Cam, but how can I not fight with him when my feelings always get in the way? I want to talk, laugh, spend my day with him again, but I can't stop myself in getting jealous in his relationship with Tina. He even loves her! There's nothing I can do anymore. Well maybe there is, but I don't know if I still want to let this feelings go on and control me every time I'm around Cam. I want to go back to the good old days where I don't care about anything, when I don't have feelings for him. I think.. I think it's time for a new start. I think it's time to move on.

I and Josh arrived in the English class just after the bell rang. Phew! The students were all seated in their sits, but good thing there were two remaining sits in the back. I and Josh rushed to the chairs at the back and sat down right before the teacher came in.

I still have around 2 hours until dismissal time and after that I'll around 10 minutes before my practice with band.

"Good afternoon class!" Mrs. Gina greeted us with her bright smile. I wonder how she manage to smile everyday. "Since last week we learned about Romeo and Juliet, today I'm gonna be pairing you up, in one pair it will will be a boy and a girl. You'll have to do one of the scenes and you'll have to perform it next week!"
