MAXIE'S POV
Saying goodbye is the hardest thing to do. I know this is a very coward thing to do. Running away. But what if getting away from him is the only thing that'll solve this problem? Will he get mad? Well of course. Should I tell him? How about my friends?
All this question keeps popping in my head every second. I don't know if I'm making a good decision, but I think this is the best yet most painful decision.
I parked my car in my usual place at school. From afar I can see my friends in the bench where we use to hang out together. Too much memories. Every step I take, it's like déja vu. Remembering all the memories. Starting from junior year till now. It's so sad that I can't stay till graduation. My parents already enrolled me in a school nearby my grandma's house, and I haven't even told my friends about it.
"Oi Maxie!" Riley shouted. I'm going to miss this girl so darn much.
"Hey Max! You okay now?" John said.
"Hi guys! Yea I'm fine now." I said giving then a forced smile.
Cam was there and I'm sure he noticed it when I forced my smile, he threw me a questioning look. But I just shrugged it off.
"Hey guys! Want to have a night out in the lake house?" I asked my friends. They all give a questioning look, well because it's a schook night. But I want to spend more time with them.
"Really? Cool!"
"But it's a school night." I'm sure that was Selene.
"Yea! Let's go!"
My friends said.
I'm glad my friends didn't notice my red puffy eyes. I spent all morning trying to conceal the dark rings under my eyes. And darn, good thing it worked.
We have 15 minutes left till class, me and my friends spent it talking with each other. But then someone just have to ruin it. As always the evil witch have to ruin our happiness.
I glared at Tina while she was walking towards us, while my friends gave her big smiles. They have no idea how fake she is. You know that feeling that you want to rip her face off, as if she's paper? Yea I'm feeling that right now. I clenched and unclenched my fist until it was bleeding.
Dude, you're overreacting! It's not even bleeding!
As always my conscience have to ruin my exaggerating moments.
Tina shot sneaky glares at me. Hey! She told me to get away from Cam not from all my friends.
I've been ignoring Cam for the past 10 minutes and I'm sure by the looks of it, he pretty much doesn't care. As you can see his occupied.
"Guys! I'll go ahead! See you guys tonight!" I said.
"Why? There's still 5 minutes left till the bell rings!" Belle said.
"Ahh.. I have to go meet.. Josh!" I said trying to make up some excuses. But I seriously didn't miss the look in Cam's eyes when I said I was going to meet Josh.
"Now that's my girl! You go girl!!" Gwen shouted.
I rolled my eyes at my friends cheering.
I went to my locker. Surprised, I saw Josh leaning against my locker. He saw me and gave me a cute smile.
