Chapter 1

Poppy's Pov

"Come on guys, I'm not that different" I stated "No Poppy, you are. You are an elf and fairy, you're different from us" Lily stated "I am no different from you" I stated "Just look at you. With your pointed ears. You look nothing like us" Daisy stated "Why? Because I'm not a flower fairy like you?" I stated "You're barely even a fairy! You're half elf" Lily stated "So! I still have wings, I can do fairy magic!" I stated "Give it up Poppy, you'll never be like us!" Daisy stated "You'll always be different!" Lily stated, I felt the tears forming again, I turned around and flew back to my home. "Why does it matter if I'm half elf?" I asked myself. I made it to my home and sat on top of it. "Why do I stay here if nobody likes me?" I asked myself, I got up and flew into the forest in the direction of the elf village where my parents were. It wasn't very far so I made it there pretty quickly. "Hello Poppy" Lina stated "Hi Lina" I replied and stopped to talk "How's the fairy village?" She asked "Terrible" I replied "All those fairies are so mean, they are very self centered" She stated "Agreed" I replied "Do they still make fun of you?" She asked "Of course, they never stop" I replied "Poppy, have you ever thought about moving here? You'd be so much better off" She stated "I've thought about it, but it's not that simple" I replied "Of course it is, it's a lot easier for you since you have wings" She stated "Yea, but what would the fairies think? That I finally gave up?" I asked "Poppy, you are a sweet girl. You need to get out of that terrible place" She stated "I guess you're right, I'll have to talk to my parents about it. Have you seen them?" I asked "Yes, your mom is visiting the unicorn fields for a few days, and your dad is at his shop" She stated "Alright, thank you Lina. I'll see you later" I replied "Bye Poppy" She stated and I flew to my dads shop. I opened the door to his shop and walked in. "Dad?" I called "Poppy?" My dad replied from the back and came to the front. "Hi dad" I stated and hugged him "Hello Poppy, how are you?" He asked "I could be better, the flower fairies still make fun of me" I stated "My poor little Poppy. Why don't you just move here?" He asked "I don't know, I talked to Lina about it, and I think I may actually do it" I stated "You should, here you are a lot more welcome" He stated "Why did I ever even move there in the first place?" I asked "You felt too different here so you moved to the fairy village" He stated "And I feel even more different there" I stated "You should move back here, you'd be so much happier" He stated "You know, I think you're right, I've finally had it with Lily and Daisy's teasing" I stated "Good for you Poppy. Would you like me to help you?" He asked "No, I couldn't ask you to. But do we still have the extra hut?" I asked "Of course" He replied "Could I live there?" I asked "Of course, Poppy" He replied "Thanks dad" I stated and hugged him. "No problem. Your mom will be happy to hear this when she comes back" He stated "When does she come back?" I asked "Tomorrow" He replied "Alright, I'm gonna go check the hut and then I'll be back" I stated "Alright" He replied and I left
