Over the course of the next few days I couldn't get over Ashley, more so I couldn't get over the fact that Andy had a girlfriend. Every breath was a sharp punch to the chest and every blink was another second of the sleep I had trouble finding. Most days I would stay in my room, alone. Andy would check up on me and bring me bowls of cereal.

I would either sleep or watch as clouds passed by my windows.

Springtime had blanketed the city in warmer weather and sunny spells and gifted me the chance to meet this Jessica. As Andy knocked on my door and forced himself in, whilst I sat on my bed unbothered by his casual presence. A sudden burst of air flooded my room in golden light as a woman with fiery red hair and gorgeous green eyes stepped in. She had freckles painted across her entire face and the most brilliant smile. She was tall, curvy, skinny and just plain beautiful. Everything I wasn't.

"Skyler, I would like to introduce you to my girlfriend, Jessica," As Andy looked over at her, I watched his eyes twinkle. I knew that look. I had seen it thousands of times before, Andy had already fallen for this redhead and there was no going back. He was head over heels for her!

"Nice to meet you, Andy has told me so much about you," Jessica smiled, oh god her teeth are perfect and white too. She's so perfect it disgusts me, in a good way!

"Nice to meet you too, I would say that he's told me all about you but he hasn't even spoken your name!" I laughed, glaring angrily and Andy "Andrew, if you don't mind I need to talk to you." Andy and I left Jessica in the apartment and sat on the stairs outside, I took a pack of ciggies and let Andy have one.

"I know what Andrew means, Skyler," He sighed "What is it?"

"Well, first off, how long have you been dating her?" I looked at him, fiddling with the lit cigarette in my hand.

"Three weeks..." Andy looked terribly ashamed. I laughed, taking a puff of the fag in hand.

"Three weeks! You have to be joking, and you haven't told me. We're getting distant Andy and I am going to be the one to pat you on the back once it's all over. Trust me," I gave Andy the look, we both secretly knew he was going to break up with her because of something stupid and come running to me.

"No, it won't. I have a feeling she's the one," Andy's cigarette was hanging loosely of his pink lips, he was so hot when he did that but I had to stop myself from doing anything silly "and plus... you only call me Andrew when you want me," he winked, taking the fag and putting it out on the ground. I laughed again, taking one last inhale of the smoke and putting mine alongside his.

"What? No!" Andy began walking towards me, looking down at myself. He lifted my chin with his index finger and his thumb and got really close to my face.

"Yes you do, you always want something you can't get..." Andy pecked my nose with his lips and went back upstairs, leaving me frozen in shock. I made my way back up the apartment stairs and into my humble abode. Listening to them make out on the sofa made me sick but I couldn't tell them to stop, they were 'falling for each other'. Oh well.

They called me in to watch a film, Sex and the City, the movie. Andy went to the store for snacks whilst Jessica and I chatted about our hobbies and what Andy was like when I first met him, and that she was 'totally cool with the whole best friend thing'. Yeah right! Andy got back, we ate everything and drunk all the beer.

"That is Mr big," I pointed at Carries husband-to-be.

"Why is he called that?" Andy shrugged his shoulders, "is it because of his-"

"No, Andy!" Jessica giggled, resting her head on his shoulder.

"You are so dirty, you haven't changed a bit!" I slapped his arm. Immediately he pounced on top of me, pinning me down and tickling my sides. I was hysterically laughing and begging him to stop.

"Andy... she said stop," Jessica growled, giving me dirty looks. Andy whined and sat back down next to her, his arm around her shoulder. The movie ended and I went to bed, still not getting any sleep at all. Jessica stayed over, of course, everyone and their mother could hear what they were doing but I just had to learn to live with it.

In the morning I got up in my baggy t-shirt Andy gave me and some random sweatpants I found on the floor. But Jessica came out in some expensive-looking, white lace lingerie. I scoffed and sipped on my coffee.

"Andy is still sleeping, try and be quiet not to wake him," She grinned, picking up Andy's hoodie. The hoodie I would wear when I was upset, the hoodie I would wear when we watched movies, it wasn't Andy's, it was mine. She put on the black jumper and sat down. I got up, mug in hand and walked over to the kitchen slowly. I twisted my shin with perfect timing to hit the table next to the sofa. Bang! I dropped the mug onto the laminate floor. I had made the loudest sounds I could in the quietest apartment.

"Oopsie!" I stood up, dusted myself off and picked up the shattered pieces of my cup. Inside I wanted to scream with joy. A groan came from Andy's room. I had awakened the beast!

"Sky I told you to be quiet for god's sake. Do you ever listen?" Jessica yelled.

"You're not being so quiet yourself love!" I giggled "And plus, only my friends call me Sky and you... you are my best friends, girlfriend" Jessica huffed and stormed off into Andy's room.

In conclusion... I did not like Andy's new girlfriend.
