Jim was sweating profusely on his bed, the pillow was soaked and he seemed to be having a nightmare. The words 'You-will-pay' played on repeat inside his head, his eyes were closed shut and he gritted his teeth in attempt to wrestle whatever was going on in his head.

Then suddenly the voice stopped, and he slowly opened his eyes. His blue pupils had dilated like he sniffed cocaine, his sweat was immense on his pale face and he breathed aloud. He looked ahead of him and saw a feminine shaped silhouette standing there.

"You-will-pay"  she slowly whispered, it echoed.

He felt chills down his spine and his stomach churned in fright, he felt numb and couldn't do anything.

"You-will-pay" she repeated, her hair shielded her face from being seen. Her body was scarred and bloody, her hair was a tangled mess, it was moist with blood drippings. At this point his breathing heavies, his heart pounding violently in his chest and his eyes widened in dismay.

"You-will-pay,"  the voice echoed again, this time in a loud whisper. The silhouette was about reaching out to him when he closed his eyes shut and let out a "NO!"

"Honey what is it?" he felt a soft touch on his hand, and opened his eyes wide with a gasp while jerking up. His mom was startled and ran out to get help. Jim was having trouble breathing and the words still linger in silent echoes inside his head.

A doctor and a couple of nurses rushed in and locked his mom outside, she was trying to peek in through the rectangular shaped glass on the grey door. She was beyond doubt, troubled. She couldn't see anything but the backs of the doctor and nurses, so she slowly trekked down the hallway, one hand on the wall heading towards the dispenser to get water to calm her nerves down. A tear found it's way down her eye, she fought it - she was trying to be strong. She hoped deep within that her son be okay.

Meanwhile in school, Catalina was on a bench in the cafeteria playing with her food. Two girls sat down on the bench behind her, backing her while they whispered;

"Hey have you heard?"

"Heard what?"

"The boys are cursed."

"Oh yeah I heard. So terrible how four of them fell ill."

"I know right? In the exact same way."

"No Shit."

"Hell yeah, beats me. Drifting off, bailing during class and fainting in the hall way."

"That is some weird stuff."

"Hey what about your project on the history of the First World War?"

Catalina had tucked her hair behind her ear and tilted her head to listen. She narrowed her eyes in suspicion and tapped her fingers on the table, she looked at her food then stood up and swung her bag, almost running out of the cafeteria.

She knew this was the moment she was waiting for, but what if this wasn't related to her bestfriend's disappearance? She couldn't afford to be pessimistic as she gave way for her hunch to lead her. She had to talk to Jim, and she's got to do it asap.

She got to the School's driveway, pushed the button on her car key to unlock the doors of her SUV. She got in, started the car with a turn of the key and reversed, totally focused and impatient. If she's got to do anything, she's got to do it fast.
