Over the weekend Jim couldn't stop thinking about Catalina's words, he wondered if she was actually human - what if she was Mary in disguise? Nah, a ghost wouldn't be so human! On one hand he wants to stay the hell away from Catalina and on the other hand, he wants to find out how much Catalina knows and how she was going to help.

Sunday's dinner was a bit boring for Catalina, her mom invited her boyfriend over - Mr John - and all they did was keep her out of their conversations. Her mom had made spaghetti tacos and John complained about how spicy it was, Catalina did nothing more than roll her eyes a lot!
At least one good thing about having him over was the fact that he offered to do the dishes with her mom in order to create a very good impression. But Catalina didn't go upstairs to her room, she was too scared. She hadn't gotten the image of that girl out of her head and it scared the shit out of her, in fact she had slept in her mother's bed the previous nights.
"So Isabel, you watched the news this morning?" John asked, drying his hands on a napkin.
"No, we were late for church, didn't get the chance." her mom replied, taking her seat at the dining to join Catalina who was distracted by her nails.
"A string of missing persons have been reported during the past week." he reported, joining them at the table. Catalina couldn't care less about whatever he was blabbing about.
"No! I heard about this yesterday, terrible right? Seems we have a serial killer around." her mom exclaimed, Catalina thought it was typical drama.
"No, no. I don't think so. A little girl had narrowly escaped and she said they were attacked by a ghost." John leaned in like a little boy. Catalina rolled her eyes, still caring less.
Isabel widened her eyes and sat up, heaving a sigh, "What? A ghost? What else did she say?"
"Now she said that they were riding out of the city when a young girl ran out across the road screaming for help, right in front of an abandoned house in the outskirts."
At this point Isabel was engrossed in the news as she placed her elbow on the table and buried her jaw in her palm while the other arm was laying comfortably crossing over her muscle.
"She said that her father had stopped his car in order to help out the poor girl, he got out of the car yeah? And her mother followed suit, warning her to stay put inside the car. She said the young girl suddenly turned into something so ugly, a young girl with dark moist hair, she was covered in blood and scars and she disappeared with her parents."
Catalina widened her eyes and looked up, "then what?" she asked. The story piqued her interest instantly.
John turned to her, "She said she couldn't move, she started to cry and the ghost suddenly appeared to her in the car scratching her skin. She had grabbed the water bottle their reverend had given them to hit her but the water spilled and the ghost disappeared. The girl was found unconscious in the outskirts of the city and no house was in sight, they thought she was hallucinating things and it was probably a wild animal. She died a few minutes after though, because of the deep wounds she sustained." he finished and Catalina narrowed her eyes in amazement.
Is this just one random angry ghost or was Mary involved? What did they do to Mary? Could Mary really be that ghost?
"Catalina?" her mom called out, she was already at the staircase. John must have gone up, probably spending the night.
She slightly jerked into reality looking at her mom, "we're going to bed now. Make sure you sleep early, tomorrow is a school day."
"Okay mom, I'll be up in a few minutes." she assured.
"Alright, ¡buenas noches bebe.¡" her mom smiled and went up the stairs.
"¡buenas noches Mamá.¡"
She almost couldn't sleep in the night. She kept tossing and turning on her bed in fright and wonders. Her intuition bugged her, she had an intense feeling that it was Mary. She didn't know why but she felt whatever they did to Mary wasn't good at all. But what?

Jim rode his black ducati testa to school, it was a sight to behold. It had a V2, a cooling system: liquid, front brakes: double disc. bremo, power: 185.00HP (135.0KW) and was extremely luxurious.
He parked at his usual spot, the School was a safe one so he didn't bother to care about chaining it or something. Then he takes a slow walk, looking over at the building and students loitering all over the place performing their individual or collective activities, all hoping the bell doesn't ring soon.
He looked around and saw Catalina stepping out of her SUV. Catalina was a sight to behold. Honestly. She swung her pony tail above her shoulder to the back and walked to the front of her car in clear cut. She had on ripped jeans and a red turtle neck crop top with white snickers and her one handed multi colored knitted school bag, Jim couldn't take his gaze off of her, as he stared at her unconsciously. He watched a few girls go over to her - he watched them have a chit chat- he watched Catalina smile, she had a beautiful smile.
The girls left her, then she turned to look his way, he turned away pretending he never saw her and started walking away but she walked over swiftly to catch up to him,
"I saw you, now we're even." she was already walking side by side with him, then he turns the other way.
"Hey! Don't be such a freak!" she called out, he snubbed her and kept walking, increasing his pace.
She tried calling out to him again when Christopher dragged her arm and pulled her in for an embrace but she forced herself out of the bond and exclaimed,
"what the fuck is wrong with you?!"
He smirked, a very charming smirk, "you're beautiful."
She looked at him with such fire in her eyes, a hard look.
"¡increíble¡" she spits and made an attempt to walk away.
"Okay fine! I'll tell you everything!" he exclaimed. She halts and smiles.
**Quite a chapter huh? Things are getting pretty interesting don't you think?
