"Catalina", a voice whispered.
Catalina was knocked out cold on the floor, she heard the voice but she couldn't open her eyes just yet.
"Catalina", the voice was heard again.
This time, Catalina slowly fought her eyes open and blinked them rapidly. At first her vision was blurry but it gradually cleared, making her sight metamorphose from a dark silhouette to a young, beautiful girl. Mary.
"Mary?" She managed to let out, her mouth dry and her voice croaked. Mary wasn't the usual monstrosity she had recently looked like, she was well, herself.
Mary's face lifted itself up into a smirk as she tilted her head, she had been bending down, "Yeah, surprise!" she exclaimed.
Catalina tried getting up, it was then that she realised she was in a whole other environment. She moaned a little, reacting to the slight pain that went through her head.
Mary got up and strolled to a window. Catalina finally was able to lift herself up, taking a clearer view at her alien surrounding. It was a very small room with no door and just a window. The walls seemed round and painted white and the floor was tiled with black. The window in which Mary found interest had cylindrical bars, everything looked new.
"Where is this place?" Catalina asked after taking note of every corner of the room. Which wasn't so much of anything, anyway.
"Why are you doing this?" Mary asked, her voice showed no iota of emotion.
"Huh?" Catalina asked, feeling clueless.
"I thought you were my best friend, why betray me for the guys you used to condemn?" Mary asked, this time her voice broke a little.
"Well I thought you were MY best friend, I never knew you to be a serial killing psycho." Catalina retaliated, stressing the "MY" word.
"That, doesn't, cut it Catalina!" Mary exclaimed, turning to face her scared ex.
"Well what does? That you're dying to have a taste of my heart? Huh?" Catalina summoned courage, taking note that she was untouchable and she hadn't forgotten to take her "supplement" earlier. She crossed her arms under her breasts.
Mary giggled, strolling slowly - step by step - around the room till she got to her former position again, "well, that is true. But, I still wanna know why you'll choose them over me." her gaze locked itself on Catalina.
"¡increíble.¡" Catalina scoffed, but the look on Mary displayed no atom of humour,
"For your information, there is no choosing in this story. I am not choosing anybody over anybody here."
"Then tell me why you haven't chopped their heads of yet. Tell me why you're after getting rid of me, ME! Tell me why you're starting to grow a soft spot on Jim of all people. Tell me why you lost that guilt you used to feel." Mary rapidly spoke, waiting for answers.
"Well it's true I felt guilty for our fight, but we both know I warned you and I tried to stop you but you never listened!"
