The boys had spent the night at Catalina's Place without the disturbance of their menacing ghost on rampage.

It was dusk when Catalina's door received slight knocks. She was a bit creeped out at first, but shrugged off the thought before going over to open the door. It was Christopher.

He had on one of the pjs John had quickly gotten to get for them. While she of course wore a big light cottoned, grey shirt that covered her thighs, a white panty and black socks.

"Couldn't sleep too?" she asked and he nodded in response.

"Come in." she said, gesturing for him to enter and closing the door lightly after him.

"I wanna tell you something important." He said, right after licking his lips.

"Okay? Wanna sit?" She asked, getting worried.

"No, please let's remain this way." he stopped her.

"Alright, hope no problem." She asked to confirm.

"Not really." he cleared his throat, feeling slightly embarrassed.

Then suddenly, he flinched. Catalina had sprayed holy water on him.

"Damn, really?" he asked, amused. And she shrugged in response.

"You never know." she said.

Christopher scoffed, "I'll get back at you for this."

"Yeah, yeah. Now spill it." She rolled her eyes, and folded her arms lifting her breasts.

Christopher cleared his throat, it made him feel uneasy, "I um, you know. I want to thank you for, fooooor," his eyes were fighting their gaze between her raised boobs and her eyes.

"for the help you've rendered so far. And I'm sorry for the um, y'know I'm sorry for the whole mess. For killing Mary and having to mess up a ritual, or even thinking about performing a ritual." he finished.

"It's okay Chris, it's fine. For what it's worth, I'm actually doing the best thing to my friendship with Mary. As a friend I'm supposed to put her on the right path as well, not the killing spree she seems to be enjoying so far." Catalina had placed a hand on Christopher's shoulder.

"I think she's lucky to have you, even though she doesn't know it or won't admit it. But tomorrow, it's um, it's a dangerous day for all of us an-"

"And we will help her rest in peace. Nobody's getting out of the circle, nobody's gonna die." she slightly squeezed his shoulder, she was scared too. But she didn't want to show it.

"Catalina," he breathed, placing a hand over hers on his shoulder, "I don't know for sure what's gonna go down. But just in case I don't make it out alive, I don't want to ever regret not doing this." and before she could say anything, suddenly, without a hint he leaned in swiftly and locked his lips with hers.

She thought about fighting back as she widened her eyes, but her body failed her. She closed her eyes and kissed him back, his palms held her face while hers were on his chest feeling the fast beat of his heart. That was what made her give in, anyway. His heart proved his sincerity.
