There was one particular person who didn't leave Iris' side the whole day after that mess of a breakfast. It was a certain green-eyed guy with wild blonde hair, which in turn caught the attention of a redhead who was there just to annoy him, which in turn attracted the wrath of another dark-haired guy.

Simply put, it was a rather noisy day.

Iris' frustration reached the point wherein
she wished for Axel's serious threats just to have peace. Her friend, Ellie, had been too nervous to come close because of the tension that the three males were showing. They kept on exchanging insults back and forth that reminded Iris of little kids.

When lunch time rolled on, something was slowly happening to Iris.

"Hey, cupcake, want some nachos?"

"For all I know, you already put some fuckin' drugs in that!"

"Why the hell are you two here? Don't you have your own friends?"

"Why are you here then?" Locke quipped.

"Because I can't miss her fight with Carlos!"

"What kinda fuckin' excuse is--"

Crack.

"Did you hear that? What--" Ares began.

"Cupcake, your plate's cracked. Good thing you're almost done!"

Locke's words were just in time. Iris' fork stopped mere millimeters away from stabbing into her fish fillet again. "Oh, will I have to pay for this?"

"Oi, did you hurt yourself?" Caleb asked, his eyes quickly going over her hands.

"The hag isn't going to die from a cut," Ares rolled his eyes.

Someone appeared at their table and they all looked up to see Cas' eyes resting on Iris, "Yo, 34B. Remember what I promised?"

Her eyes instantly sparkled and her quiet voice rose a little. Only a little. "Banoffee pie!"

Cas jerked his head toward the dessert shelves, "Go on, have as many as you want. Just put in on my tab."

Iris couldn't contain the excitement that tinged her voice, "Are you sure?"

"Just go."

Iris' walked quickly to buy her dessert, leaving the four males with one another's presence. Almost everyone that was inside the cafeteria were glancing at the group. While being friends with another fighter was not unheard of, those four were a different case, especially Cassius. The junior slacker was always skipping classes and generally just enjoyed being out of everyone's sight. It's a wonder how he's passing his classes.

Cas took a seat among them. He leaned his elbow on the table and rested his head on his hand, closing his eyes and yawning loudly, "Don't push it, idiots."

"Cassius, you're here," Ares looked at the newcomer with eyes full of reverence.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Caleb snapped, not fond of being called an idiot.

"My bestest friend! Why are you here?" Though Locke said it with an angelic smile, anyone with a brain can hear the venom in his voice.
