When Iris entered the building, she was amazed at how different it looked on the inside.  Everything looked posh and elegant. She was greeted by a man named Dom who immediately began explaining about the dorm's facilities. There was a lounge, a game room, and its own dining room where a five-star chef was stationed. Because Visco Academy prized its top fighters, it's only natural they'd want to take care of them so this dorm was built. This was a place that they could use to keep a closer eye on them.

Breakfast was served at 7am sharp, while dinner was served at 8pm so those who had extracurricular activities, like Iris, could catch on. This was the part she liked the most--she didn't have to worry about food. Why didn't she know about this sooner? She'd have joined Visco's world on her first year if she'd known about this, saving her father the hassle of sending money for her.

No need to cry over spilled milk. She was here now. Dom further talked her through it. There was also a gym with personal trainers who could give the 20 students exercise and meal plans, which they could request to the chef. It was all about keeping their body healthy and fit.

"There's more, but I'm sure you're tired now, Iris," Dom said kindly. "If you need anything, just ask me."

"Thank you, Dom."

"I'm sure glad there's a girl now," He smiled sheepishly. "I'll be looking forward to hearing more news about you. And don't forget! The 7am breakfast is important, alright? Make sure to be here tomorrow!"

After saying goodbyes, Iris went for her room which was at the third floor. The door to her room opened after tapping the card on the electronic lock.

Her new room was double the size of her old room. Simply put, everything was better. She was shocked to find that her things were in the exact same position as they were in the old room. Axel outdid himself. She'll have to thank him for his effort to replicate her old room.

She walked to her small table and picked up Pierre's gift. She clutched it in her hand and read the small note of paper attached to it.

For my dearest Iris. I know you can protect yourself, but you're still the sole girl staying with wild beasts. Keep this with you always. It'll give me a peace of mind.

It was a pepper spray that was customized just for her. It bore her name. That was enough in itself, but her name was outlined with gems. Real gems.

Was this what people usually give to other people? She dismissed that. Pierre was different--he did have a taste for shit in his tea.

Still, she clutched it close to her chest and felt gratitude blossom within her. It was her first gift.

Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?
I repeat, will the real Slim Shady please stand up?
We're gonna have a problem here~

"Who's slim shady...?" Iris mumbled at the sudden loud fast music in her room. She followed the sound to see that it was from a speaker mounted to her wall near the entrance. Her eyes flicked to her clock and found it was 7am.

Of course they were being treated like soldiers.

She threw a cardigan over her nightdress and slipped her feet on her bunny sleepers. Taking her card with her, she went out of her room and to the elevator.

It dinged open and Iris trudged in with bleary eyes. Someone was there with her but she still wasn't in the mood to see people in 1080p. Only when he spoke did his face cleared up and Iris realized she knew him.
