The next day, there was no Magcon but I still woke up somewhat early.

I put on my pink sports bra and my oversized gray jacket and black spandex shorts, slipping on my slippers that I had brought along and grabbed my phone before leaving the room.

I got into the elevator, pressing the '3'. The 3rd floor had a pool and gym, and I needed to go to the gym. I've been self conscious since I was 14 and very insecure about my body, developing anorexia at 15. It was 'cured' a few months ago, but I've been working out as much as I can despite the fact everyone says I have a good body. I had to keep it somehow, right?

I pushed open the door to the gym, the room being empty. I put in my earphones and took off my slippers beside the treadmill, stepping onto it and turning it on.

After my workout, I went back up to my room to see the door slightly open. I groaned, not wanting any of the boys to see how shitty I look after I work out. I turned straight into the bathroom and splashed myself with water, drying off my face and walking out.

"Why are you guys here?" I asked, seeing all of them sprawled out on the two beds.

"Because we actually want to hang out with you?" Cameron laughed.

"Fine with me," I replied, sitting on the bed that I sleep in that now had Carter, Taylor, and Jack G on it.

I don't know what happened with Taylor last night or where it put us. I knew it changed whatever feeling I had for him before. I felt nervous around him now, and it reminded me of the numerous times I've liked a guy. But did I really like Taylor?

"There's nothing to do here." Nash groaned as he threw a pillow in the air and caught it over and over again.

"We can make it fun." Matt said. He whispered something to Carter who went into the bathroom laughing. I watched as he snuck up behind Cameron who was scrolling on twitter, not paying attention. He smacked him with shaving scream, and Cameron slowly looked up as he dropped his phone, a look of embarrassment and defeat coming across his face. He wiped it off and turned around to hit Carter, only to hit Shawn by accident.

I put my hand over my mouth to hide the laughter, but no one else attempted to hide that they were about to die from laughing so hard. Shawn jumped up and went into the bathroom, getting the shaving cream Carter had left out and sprayed Cameron with it.

"Why only me?" Cameron asked as it was sprayed on him. Cameron hit Nash with what was sprayed onto him, and Nash stood up and hit Taylor. Taylor looked to me and I ran into the bathroom, locking myself in only to realize I had left my phone out there.

Being smacked with shaving cream would be better than having 9 teenage guys get ahold of my cell phone. I unlocked the door and made a run for it, catching Taylor off guard as I ran right by. Nash had my phone and I jumped onto him, taking it away.

"Bye guys!" He yelled, and I realized he had been making a vine. Taylor smacked the back of my thigh with the shaving cream, laughing as he did so.

"World war 3 is going on at the moment, please pray for us." Matt said into his camera. I got the remaining shaving cream and sprayed it on his face before the video could end, running and hiding on the side of my bed.

"Maybe we should do something that doesn't involve slapping each other." Matt suggested.

Later that day, we were walking around downtown DC.

"We should play a huge game of hide and seek." Jack J suggested. Everyone agreed and Jack began to lay out the rules.

"We need partners, no taking the car, don't go any further than 4 blocks either way." He explained. The partners were Jack and Jack, Matt and Carter, Cameron and Nash, Aaron and Shawn, Taylor and me.

"How are we going to know when you're done counting if we're half a mile away?" Carter asked JJ.

"Hold on."

JJ walked down the street and into a store, coming out 10 minutes later with an air horn.

"I guess that'll work." I laughed.

"Maybe, I don't know." Jack joked.

He started counting and Taylor pulled grabbed my hand, running down the block quickly.

Moments like these when you're having fun with people who matter make you forget about everything for awhile. I didn't have a care in the world at the moment as I ran the dim streets of DC hand in hand with Taylor.

"Here!" Taylor exclaimed, turning into an alleyway. We ducked behind a truck that was parked, and right on time too. The sound of Jack's air horn echoed through the area.

I looked down at my hand that was still intertwined with Taylor's, my heart skipping a beat. I knew Taylor liked me, and I knew I liked him... But it's too soon.

"I have that explanation now," Taylor spoke.

"I'm listening." I said, sitting because I was starting to get uncomfortable from crouching.

"Well, I was jealous that Jack was doing the things I want to do." He began.

"Like what?"

"Taking you on dates and kissing you." He responded, looking down at our intertwined fingers how I had moments ago.

"You don't have to be jealous of him." I said, our eyes meeting as I looked up.

"So at the next Magcon can I take you on a date?" He asked.

"Yes you can." I replied.

He smiled, his eyes flickering to my lips and back up to my eyes as he slowly leaned in.

"FOUND YOU!" Jack J screamed, causing me to jump. I let go of Taylor's hand and stood up.

"Okay let's go find the others then." I said. I was actually kind of disappointed that I didn't get to kiss Taylor.

We looked around for about 20 minutes before we found the rest of them. We didn't play another round because we were all getting tired and it was nearly 1 a.m.

"How was your alone time with Taylor?" Carter asked as we walked into the hotel lobby.

"Nice." I responded, the sound of Taylor's name giving me butterflies. Fuck.

"He really likes you, like really likes you. He asked me for advice." Carter chuckled. He stopped talking about him when Taylor got into the elevator as well, the door sliding shut after he got in.

The door opened on the 4th floor and it was eerily silent. We were all tired though, so none of us even questioned each other's silence. Everyone went into their rooms, except Taylor and I.

"I didn't get to do this earlier." He told me before leaning down and pressing his lips against mine softly. We pulled apart and he gave me a smile before turning and walking to his room which was across the hall and 2 doors down.

I walked into my room, not caring about the stupid smile I had on my face as I got into the shower. I'd be leaving around 10a.m. tomorrow and then the next Magcon would be in Nashville.

At the next Magcon, I'd have a date with Taylor.
