Taylor's Point of View

It's weird how one moment, you're in love with someone. You want to give them everything, show them everything, and you want the same in return. But the next moment, it's like you feel nothing. Like they aren't a thing to you.

I stared at my phone as the message appeared as 'read 7:57 pm'.

I didn't want to imagine how Tatiana felt now. I didn't want to be the one that hurt her so badly. I loved her.

Loved.

Tatiana's Point of View

I felt my phone vibrate as I headed up to my room after the event.

Tay 😍 - iMessage

I slid the unlock bar and typed in my password, but my heart dropped as I read the message.

"Tatiana I know this isn't rite.. Especially not over text but I don't think we should have a relationship anymore"

Did I jinx myself earlier?

All I felt was pain. I dropped my phone to the floor and dropped right along with it afterwards. The elevator opened and Nash walked out, his eyebrows furrowing with worry as he walked over to me.

"What's wrong?" He asked, kneeling beside me.

"T-Taylor left me,"

"Again?"

"Again."

It's pretty crazy how one moment, someone can love you and the next they can't. It's like something snaps inside of them that makes them think; did I ever care for this person? Did he ever feel anything?

He had to have felt something for me, there is no way on Earth someone could keep an act up that long, right?

"Tatiana.." Nash sighed, wrapping an arm over my shoulder and pulling me into his chest.

"Wait what's going on?" Carter asked, walking out of the elevator that had just came back to the floor we were on.

"Taylor,"

Carter groaned.

"Tatiana listen,"

I kept my face buried into Nash's shirt, not wanting to face anything or anyone in my current state.

Carter sighed before speaking again.

"Come on, let's get you to your room.."

"You probably think that some people are the best thing in the whole world when you first see them," Carter was pacing the room like a teacher giving a lecture.

"You'll find yourself falling in love with them, but what happens to things that fall?"

"They break." I murmured, my hands in my lap as I sat criss cross on my bed.

"And no matter how many times they help you fix the pieces of what is broken, if it falls again it will always break. You might as well buy a new one,"

I sat for a minute, my heart feeling like it could burst out of my chest. I had a feeling that I wouldn't be able to recover from this one.. We can't recover from this one.

"What if that.. thing that was broken, was very rare and there are none made that way anymore? How do I buy a new one knowing it won't be the same?"

"The new one could be better,"

I need a new one.

"Thank you Carter," I sighed, standing to give him a hug before he left the room. As the door was beginning to shut, Nash walked in.
