Two Week Later. . .

Tommy's POV:

My life was becoming a nightmare. The diner in which I worked at was in debt, so it couldn't pay all of its employees the hours. Lucifer has been forcing me to have sex with the strangers in the club because I owe him money. Lyric and Ambrose's birthdays are coming up next Thursday and I don't have time to hang out with them on their day. Worst of all, Mr Carter was coming to pick the rent, and I didn't had it complete. Today I was forced to take a break from the diner. Kyle forced me and the employees to take breaks, so I was at home, but Adam had come over, which got the kids excited. They loved him as if he was a Dad. Lyric came over and hid behind the couch. Adam came into the living room, a smirk on his face.

"Where are you, Princess?" Said Adam in a singing voice. I smiled and heard Lyric giggle. Adam came behind the couch. "There you are!" Lyric screamed and ran out of the room, Adam laughing, but he didn't chase after her. He sat down with me. "What's wrong, Kitten?" I looked at him.

"Kitten?" I questioned.

"Yeah." He said, his hand stroking my cheek. "Kitten." I smiled and shook my head.

"Nothing." I said. "Just problems."

"Like what?" He asked. I shook my head again. "I owe the owner of this building a lot of money and I don't have it complete. I'm not getting paid in the diner because the owner is in debt. I owe money to the owner of my nighttime job." I groaned. "Its so stressful!"

"Hey, you'll--" Adam started when there was a knock on the door. I stood up to get to the door. Once I opened it, Mr Carter gave me a smirk.

"Got the money?" He asked. I shook my head. Mr Carter shook his head. Five or six guys came in.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"You're out of here." He said.

"What's going on?" Asked Adam.

"He won't be living here anymore." Said Mr Carter. "He didn't pay me the rent, so he's out."

"No he's not." Said Adam as he came over. "I'll pay you what he owes. How much does he owe you?"

"Three thousand dollars." Said Mr Carter. Adam nodded and grabbed the briefcase he brought with him. He opened it and pulled out a pen and a checkbook. Adam wrote the check and handed it to Mr Carter. Mr Carter smirked at me and grabbed me from my neck.

"You're lucky this time." He said and let me go. Adam put his arms around me and I pressed myself to his chest. I coughed a little as Adam rubbed my back. The guys left and so did Mr Carter.

"Bitch." Adam muttered as he closed the door and we walked to the couch. Adam went away, but came back with a glass of water. He handed it to me and I took it.

"Thank you." I said.

"You're welcome." He said and put the glass aside. I looked up at Adam.

"Why?" I asked. "You didn't had to pay him. I was the one who owed him money, not you."

"And where would you have gone?" He asked. I looked down and hugged him. I buried my face on the crook of his neck and I could feel tears making their way down.

"Th-Thank you." I said. "Really."

"Not a problem Kitten." He said as he hugged me back.

"Mom?" Said Ambrose. "Can we go to the park?"

"Sure." I said. "Adam, want to come?"

"Sure." Said Adam. "I brought my car, so we can go to...maybe a pool?"

"Yes!" They yelled and Adam laughed.

"Okay, then change." I said and they went upstairs, running with excitement. Its sad Adam had no kids. He would be a great Dad. I went to grab a jacket and Adam was on the phone.

"No, I'll come in later." He said. "...I'm with someone." He laughed. "No, I'm not in a new relationship.... Friend...okay, bye." I smiled. I was falling for his charms. He was so nice and caring, even though he was half vampire and half angel.
