Scott POV (A/N: This is more like a filler chapter. New perspective, let me know if it's good, bad, total wreck. Never really done a guy's point of view, hope it's good! I might change Scott's name, haven't decided yet, I'm thinking Luca or Joseph. Thanks for reading, guys!)
My heart clenched as I watched her walk away from me. The distance had my insides howling. She was so beautiful and she had no idea what she did to me. Did she really mean what she said? She wanted to stay away from me, why?
Once she went inside her house I sighed, driving off towards the pack house.
I knew my mother would be curious about whether I found my mate or not. Last year I had taken off from school to handle pack business regarding the rouges. A small group of them managed to sneak into our territory, killing about half of our guards. During that time my mother constantly reminded me of finding my mate. Any chance she got, it was mate this mate that. Honestly I didn’t think about it too much. I was thinking about the rogues who murdered my men.
They’ve gotten stronger, and more rabid. A disgusting wolf they had become.
I hadn’t realized I was parked in front of the house until a knocking caused my head to snap up. At my window was none other than my best friend, Preston.
Rolling my eyes at the stupid grin on his face I got out of the car.
“How was your first day back?” He asked as if he were my parent.
“Fine, Pres, you were there remember?” I said as I walked towards the house.
“Yeah, but-” He stopped to sniff the air, mostly around me, making me tense a bit. “What, what is that?” He asked.
“What?”
“That scent. It sure as hell isn’t wolf.” Preston told me. I sighed running a hand through my hair.
“I need to get my parents and Thompson, just wait in the office okay.” I told him. Saying nothing more he nodded and went inside.
I followed behind, heading towards the kitchen. “There you are, were have you been? How was your day back? Did you find-”
“Mom. Give me a chance to speak.” I laughed.
“Then tell us, boy.” My father chuckled behind his wife.
I pursed my lips, “Office.” I said, nodding towards the only room where others would hear.
My mother glanced at her husband worriedly before following me. We all piled into the office, Preston waiting for us. He stood up when he saw my parents giving them a respectful nod.
Earlier I called for Thompson, through our mind link, who had just walked into the room. He was my father’s beta and Preston father. He was a spitting image of his father, both having shaggy blonde hair and dark blue eyes.
“So, what is it?” My mother asked.
My father sat at his desk that would soon be mine, while my mother stood beside him.
“I found her.” I told them.
My mother smiled widely. “Well, where is my future daughter-in-law?”
“Mom…”
“Why isn’t she sitting in front of us?”
“Mom-”
